I don't like the foo fighters to begin with, so that's consistent with my views of them. I'm glad you like it though!

Did they give a release date for the new album?
February 5.

Have you watched the Sonic Highways series? It’s an amazing look at all styles of music and at the end of each episode, FF use the content for that episode to craft a song. Really enjoyable even if you aren’t crazy about the band.
The series was intended to be a springboard for other artists to do similar deep dives for records, but no one took up the mantle.

The New Orleans episode is one of my favorite hours of TV ever. I love it when Taylor finishes a drum take and exists Preservation Hall and goes across the street to the bar to get Dave to listen to the track. haha

SNL made me realize that I don't really like Foo Fighters. I like two of their hits.
I always thought "generic rock and roll."

Probably my favorite episode as well largely because I know exactly where they are and have been there.

Lot of people here crapping on the FF, but you have to admit Grohl is a great guy.

Yep, I find him to be pretty interesting and a very likeable dude, just don't care too much for his music. I thought Nirvana was garbage too, so this is my gaucho to raiders moment

No doubt but saying you don't like someone is not "crapping" on them.

Sat down and listened to Santana Abraxus last night, holy smokes, that's quite an album. Been a while since I listened to Santana and it got me dancing. Probably gonna have to give lotus or Filmore a go next.

Yeah, man. Those early Santana albums are unreal. Thanks for the reminder to listen.
