The series was intended to be a springboard for other artists to do similar deep dives for records, but no one took up the mantle.Have you watched the Sonic Highways series? It’s an amazing look at all styles of music and at the end of each episode, FF use the content for that episode to craft a song. Really enjoyable even if you aren’t crazy about the band.
The New Orleans episode is one of my favorite hours of TV ever. I love it when Taylor finishes a drum take and exists Preservation Hall and goes across the street to the bar to get Dave to listen to the track. haha

Sat down and listened to Santana Abraxus last night, holy smokes, that's quite an album. Been a while since I listened to Santana and it got me dancing. Probably gonna have to give lotus or Filmore a go next.
