I have been listening to nothing except Phoebe Bridgers for the past few months. My Spotify stats at the end of the year are going to be hilarious.

Not a bad choice at all. I have been listening to a lot of Joni Mitchell again lately.

About 20 years ago, I was at a happy hour with a female friend and at the other end of the bar Johnny Rzeznik was hitting on a chick. I mused, "What do you think his move is?" and without missing a beat my friend held her hand out to me and went, "'Hi, I'm Johnny Rzeznik.'"

I don't know what it is, but boygenius is her one project that I haven't gotten too into yet. Her solo stuff is the best but I also really dig Better Oblivious Community Center.

My first concert was in 1968 with the Righteous Brothers at WVU in the old basketball arena called the Field House. The same place Jerry West used to play in.

Larry Carlton played guitar on Steely Dan's version. Larry Carlton played guitar on four Steey Dan albums. Incidentally, he also played guitar on four Joni Mitchell albums.

Why are you boldfacing Joni Mitchell? Not that I disapprove; just wondering if I missed a joke somewhere.
