I saw Led Zep-Again in college, but I'm sure the lineup has turned over many times since then.

Iron Maidens are legit, no joke.

I just got hipped to a record label called Analog Africa, which specializes in 70s funk and psychedelia (from....Africa). This could take a year or so to sort through.

I'll have to check that out. I really liked Nigerian psych rock on Parts Unknown last month.

The Soul Jazz label (London) has some pretty excellent re-issues.

You're trying to post a 'copy video URL at current time' link that starts at 52 seconds into the song. Can't do that with the embed tool.

Looks like the closest they're getting to Pittsburgh is Cleveland, and that's not until next summer.

Fan Halen < Atomic Punks, imo. Half of AP is/was also in Steel Panther, and that's awesome.

Almost three decades later, I'm still enjoying the Sundays debut album. They got a lot of things right, maybe thanks to their producer Ray Shulman (of Gentle Giant fame).

Today is a banner day for Canadian music.

The 40th anniversary edition of Rush's Farewell to Kings came out. Neil Young has a new album, and he will open his archives up for free (at some point today) at http://www.neilyoungarchives.com/#/?_k=pmv2p0

I'd say you need a hearing test, but I think your GG problem goes much deeper than that...

Oh man... I could never get into Gentle Giant. One of my friends is obsessed with them and I just don't get it. They are clearly talented, but there is just nothing appealing in their songs to me.

I would think that Phish fans would like Gentle Giant.

I don't like Phish, mind you. ;)
