Literally has a "Never mind" tattoo on his chest.
and has recreated the album cover for photoshoots multiple times.

My favorite quote I've seen about this lawsuit is "thirty years later and he's still chasing the dollar."

To be fair, it's pretty weird nowadays to have a naked kid on an album cover. That wouldn't happen now. Still, his reasoning is hilariously dumb. "It WAS cool until I wanted Nirvana to be in my art show and I had to go through their managers, therefore their album cover is now child porn."
:thumb:

This is my thought. The album cover, while a unique idea, wasn't something I'd be OK with. To put it another way, there's no way in hell that doing that album cover with a baby girl would ever pass muster.

That said, if he really wasn't OK with it, the time to address it would have been many years ago. It just looks ridiculously money grabby now.

I saw a blurb that yesterday was the 30th anniversary of Judas Priest winning a court case where they weren’t held liable for the deaths of two fans that made a suicide pact. I don’t remember the details, but I remember that being a big deal back then. Tipper Gore, man. :?

Oh good, somebody else did the heavy lifting of finding all of the photoshoots.

There are a few people actually defending him by saying "...but he's wearing trunks in those shots."

However,

Was that the one that claimed the message "do, kill kill" was encoded backwards on the record? Or was that the Ozzy 'Suicide Solution' case?

Really want to see the Stones in October at Heinz Field but the ticket prices..... who knows if they will tour again and when I'm 70 (in 20 short years) am I going to regret not going when I had the chance? Can't seem to convince anyone to pay to go with me- Mrs. Franchise can't go to concerts anymore due to ear problems and is convinced it will not be a good environment for our 14 year old daughter.... do I really want to go alone? Maybe....

Been listening to Sirius 106- Volume in the wake of Watts' death. My two favorite stories-

Watts gets Max Weinberg to bring (Brubeck Quartet drummer) Joe Morello and (outspoken anti-rock jazz drummer) Mel Lewis to a Stones show

Watts punches Jagger in the face for calling him "My Drummer" and tells him "Never call me your drummer again!"

KISS concert in Burgettstown canceled after front man Paul Stanley tests positive for covid
https://triblive.com/local/regional/kis ... n-unclear/
Thursday night’s KISS concert the Pavilion at Star Lake was canceled after front man Paul Stanley tested positive for covid, according to a post on the band’s website.

“Everyone on the entire tour, both band and crew, are fully vaccinated,” the post read. “The band and their crew have operated in a bubble independently to safeguard everyone as much as possible at each show and in between shows. The tour also has a covid safety protocol officer on staff full-time that is ensuring everyone is closely following all (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines.”
tl;dr, flu-like symptoms.

I was wondering if you'd ( @tifosi77 ) gone last night. I thought the concert poster was pretty excellent:

Dave's oldest daughter, Violet, was one of the background singers for the night. She was wearing a Mayhem t-shirt.

No encore, but they played for 2 1/2 hours without a break.
