The Grateful Dead doc on Amazon Prime had a segment on this: on forward thinking it was, but a horrendous PITA to setup and teardown every night. Like it would take the crew all night to tear it down, leaving for the next gig at 6 in the morning. Drive all day, setup for 4 hours, soundcheck adjustments, and then the show...then it would start all over again.

Neil Young Archives are free for everyone right now. He just did his second Fireside session and he did a first ever acoustic version of Love and Only Love from Ragged Glory. Great stuff.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's Facebook feed has been a joy throughout this quarantine. He has been playing his pieces on piano and listening to fans sending in their vocal takes on his songs. It has been very heartwarming.

Was the George Harrison: Live in Japan album out of print in the US? I was aware of the tour (it featured Clapton and his touring band in late 1991), and I remember trying to find it a few years ago on streaming sources, but couldn't find it. It wasn't included with the Harrison solo albums that his estate released to iTunes etc. a few years ago either.

But it's now on Apple Music, and it's phenomenal. I mean, how could it not be? He even does Piggies live, and a stellar version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps...

He and his wife have done some cool covers. Yesterday, they did Neil Young's Don't Let It Bring You Down, the night before they did Wish You Were Here, and High and Dry by Radiohead last week.

Not really a fan of his music, but I do love hearing about people engaging with fans like this. Super cool. :thumb:

Unsure what thread to put this into, but last week Cirque du Soleil premiered a video that's pro-shot footage from their shows edited into a 1-hour video for your entertainment at home during this time.

http://www.youtube.com/user/cirquedusoleil

The first episode was material from Kurios (which seems like it's bonkers), O, and Luzia (which is extraordinary). This week's episode will premier Friday 4/3, show lineup has not been made public yet.

Polly Samson was scheduled to do a book tour of the UK to promote her new book, a fictionalized story of life on the Greek isle of Hydra in the early 1960s which had Leonard Cohen (among others) as residents.

The tour was going to feature music inspired by and written by Cohen, and performed by Samson's husband David Gilmour.

The tour was postponed, but they did a live stream on his Facebook and Instagram pages. He played an original and two Cohen songs, which was pretty cool. He's there with his adult children and grandchild ( who gets annoying lol). They are planning to go again Thursday.

The book sounds good, too.
