Aja's their masterpiece but apart from that, Countdown is my favorite Steely album. It didn't have any real "hits," but the material is just fantastic. Bodhisattva, Show Biz Kids, Boston Rag, My Old School.....

Grabbed the headphones and walked back to work listening to Kamakiriad and let's just say there was a noticable jump to my step. Terrific stuff! What are thoughts on his sunken condos album?

I'm thinking you should download it as well.

Regarding Kamakiriad, and maybe because I listened to grateful dead for 90% of 2020, but damn does it sound amazingly crisp and tight. I can't remember listening to an album with such clarity. Sounds awesome blasting on headphones

Very good Neil Young deepcut cover from Jeff Tweedy (and a couple of his kids):

Was never that big a Nirvana fan at the time, but that Unplugged show was fantastic.

I was an uber fan at the time and actually hated it at first, but mostly because I was dumb and still viciously mad at Courtney Love.

When I worked at Universal Music Group, the head litigation attorney's office was directly across the way from mine. This was the period when she sued Geffen for control of the Nirvana masters. Entertainment lawyers have a pretty robust vocabulary of sexist and misogynistic insults, let me tell you.

Good. Man, he is one of my all time favorites from my childhood, and is still featured prominently on my running mix. Chronic 2001...

This is fantastic! That's one album (with the exception of Like a Hurricane) that I do not listen to often.

I could be wrong, but I think Wilco was the last band I've ever seen live.... back in the good old days when I hugged 3000 people a day and covered the world in my spit.
