The Star Wars main theme is in Bb major, so that checks out.

First crush was Julie Newmar/Catwoman. But DH would've been right around that time, too.

I also though Ace Frehley was a girl for a while when I was like six or seven, but that's water under the bridge.
I thought that about Edgar Winter
"When he joined the group, I heard mad cats like, 'Yo, Shalamar got a new girl in there, man, that girl fine like a ****.' They was talking about Micki Free, okay? Micki Free is not a girl."

Random Thought:

The three major songs about West Virginia*, Emmylou Harris's "Green Rolling Hills of West Virginia", the old folk song "West Virginia Hills" and Kathy Mattea's "West Virginia, My Home" all have the same theme. Person singing is from West Virginia, moved away when young for work, now they are living in a city, miserable, and find their only happiness in thinking about those West Virginia hills, and then hope to go home one day, either to be buried or retire.

* - The John Denver song has nothing to do with anything related to West Virginia.

I know it's catchy, but I agree. The Blue Ridge Mountains don't even touch WV, and the Shenandoah River originates in far NE WV but it's most storied portions are in VA.

Side note: people who don’t get that PGH is the capital of Appalachia need to compare yinzer accents to those of Westetn N.C. and Eastern Tennessee.

Anybody ever hear of a Swedish group called Dirty Loops? Essentially some baller fusion jazz musicians that got together to make a pop album. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but worth checking out regardless, IMO.

I've been getting into the newish Dischord band called Red Hare. It's 3/4 of Swiz, so some familiar sonic territory...

I saw Gorilla Biscuits at an American Legion hall in 1989. Great show.

i think it might be new guitar day. depends on how quickly i get out of work and what i find.

i have a red les paul studio. id really like something with a floyd rose tremolo (never had one). i have a spare set of Zakk Wylde EMGs to toss in it.
