There's a whole EP, according to Apple Music!

It's got a cover of Simon and Garfunkel's 7 o'clock news/Silent Night with Fiona Apple and Matt Berninger as well

Here is Joni Mitchell's take on Gaucho:

“I never understood why “Gaucho” didn’t receive the critical acclaim of “Aja”. I’m convinced that if “Gaucho” had come first and then “Aja”, the same thing would have happened in reverse. To maintain this high standard of musicality and storytelling through two projects is most praiseworthy - but there is something ignorant and arbitrary in rock journalism - editorial policy maybe - like ‘We were kind last time, let’s kill ‘em this time!” Or maybe it was like second-date syndrome, where unrealistic expectations eclipse a plenty good reality. Of all the great songs on these two albums, the first to come to mind was ‘Third World Man’.”

Here's Larry Carlton bringing you to your knees:

Robert Altman's terrific western McCabe & Mrs. Miller.
This movie has been on my list for a while, good, huh?

Machine Gun Kelley sounds like he spits a lot when he sings. He is also bad.

We've gone too many posts without talking about Phoebe Bridgers. She was nominated for four Grammys: Best New Artist, Best Alternative Music Album, Best Rock Song, and Best Rock Performance.

I fully expect this post to be followed up with a list of Joni Mitchell's accomplishments.

I don’t understand the best new artist nom. Punisher is her second LP. Stranger in the Alps (her first LP) was released on the same label in 2017. Plus she released an EP in 2014. It’s a weird choice.

The Recording Academy changed the rules 4 or 5 years ago. An artist is still eligible up until they have up to 30 singles or 3 full albums in release. Since they've made the change, I think 2 winners have had multiple releases.

There was a time I would be receptive to stuff like that, but I have basically just been listening to 90’s style power chord punk for like the last 15 months.
