no one can stop.... MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

That one is probably one of his top 3. He did a good job with this one too.

Good to see he's making videos again. I checked his profile and he has a few uploads from earlier this month. For awhile he wasn't posting anything.

File under the mysterious ways of women.
Ric Ocasek, homelier than a chicken, somehow got Paulina Poriskova to marry him.

Yup, he went the full-bore Richard Belzer route as he got older.

That's one I was never able to sort out. Like, I can figure out the Trumps. I totally see what Anna Nicole Smith was up to. And it's not particularly savvy or insightful of me. But I've been vexed by the Ocasek-Porizkova nexus for like 30 years.

Some more Staples Singers for mikey. This is from the 1973 when the kids are grown up and is in the traditional call and response style:

and this was there top 40 hit that I remember from the early 70's. The Talking Heads ripped off this song.

And this band was influenced by SS:

Sounds like Metallica is going to be coming back to Pittsburgh for the first time since 2004. Dates expected to be announced on Monday for the tour.

George Harrison turned 75 today. He died way too young.

They do tour alooot, but they have not been here since 2004 when they toured St. Anger. They did lots of stadium tours and festivals and such and I think the closest they came was Columbus. They last time they came here they played at the Igloo haha.

Metallica is on my short list of concerts that I really want to see before they get too old. Definitely going to this tour.

Looks like Metallica will be at BJC on Saturday, October 20. There is a Citi cardmember presale that starts tomorrow morning, I think we are definitely cashing in on that.

Interesting - they are doing a sixth annual 'MetallicA' day with the Giants at AT&T Park in April, but they don't have any other Bay Area dates announced. There's a show in Sac'to in December, but that's it for now.

I think for the most part they are hitting places they didn't hit on their last NA leg that was mostly stadiums.

Bad Religion and NOFX coming to Highmark Stadium for a craft beer festival in May. Tickets are on sale Friday.

I might be wrong on this, but has Highmark hosted a festival like this or even a concert?
