Also, in other news, the new U2 album sucks. Like pretty much everything they've done in the last 25 years or so. But Rolling Stone gives it a 4.5 star rating and proclaims it a top five album of the year. I guess there wasn't a new Mick Jagger or Rolling Stones album out this year.
I've ranted about this on twitter a few weeks ago, and apologies if I'm wrong on this since i'm not the biggest Jagger/Rolling Stones fan, but couldn't you probably say the same thing about the Stones? It seems like they have toured for the last 25 years covering the stuff they wrote in the first 25.

The Stones made exactly one album worth listening to in the last 45 years (since Exile): Some Girls (1978), which was so good because it was so not Stones in some ways.
