That's why I said "potential". It's highly dependent on how many black applicants they have compared to how many they accept.

Isnt this the same school that embraced the first openly gay black football player??

Yep, we're intolerant as f***
And while you could say he was accepted because he was a football player, they elected a young black gay man to be president of the student association. In fact, here's the executive board:

Exactly. Complete f***** phony social justice outrage, and a guy got bullied into quitting his job. This shht has gotten completely out of hand.

Mizzou has 2895 faculty, 96 of which are black. To reach 10% black faculty, they need to hire 215 new all black faculty (311 / 3110), or fire and replace 193 white faculty (289 / 2985).
Has anyone ever looked at the statistics from an HBCU?

I can tell you that Tuskegee, for one, is no where close to representing the community as a whole.

I looked into Tim Wolfe's background and he had zero academic management experience. Now that's not 100% required and some high profile people have very successfully made the switch. Having said, management (even at lower level like myself) is a very different beast in a university setting. It seems like he might not have the soft/political (and academia is all about internal politics) to deftly handle the situation.

That's just it, his failure isn't that he is racist which is the victory cry. His failure was that he didn't show proper empathy (which can certainly be a fireable offense in that position, but it's not worth the hatred being fired his and Loftin's directions)

They will not get a person in that job with any future goals.

Wonder who the underqualified sacrificial lamb will be next?

Yes, that seems correct.

College presidents are basically chief development officers - they bring in the big donors, like the ones that get buildings named after them. With his name smeared, he isn't able to effectively do his job and fired by the board of trustees, or whatever it's called at Missouri.

And the Chancellor stepped down, too...

An effective way to make changes - rightly or wrongly - is hit the school where the money is.

And my problem here is that there's an obvious double standard in the last two decades at Mizzou. All you have to do is research Ricky Clemons and Elson & Carmento Floyd. (Belongs in the 2015-2016 college basketball thread)

The wife of the system President is calling a former basketball player who is incarcerated for beating up his white girlfriend and telling him he needs to stop dating crackers because they're bad news and the administration doesn't bat an eye.

Sorry, I'm still pissed his name is on my diploma.

My ACC picks this week:

Pitt over Duke
Miami over UNC
VT over GT
Clemson over Cuse
Ville over UVA
NC St over FSU
ND over WF

This will be the weekend of upset.

I still fully believe UNC loses 2 of the next 3, and I think Clemson will **** a game.

Let's see how much fire this draws... It should be like erecting a Cross in the middle of Aleppo.

Anyone remember when EPP claimed wins and losses were the measure of success? No? Just me? Oh... well then, nevermind.

Hopefully they can hold on to that until the end of the season, WVU can raise their first banner.

Just as I suspected... Lots of people ascribing meaning to something that isn't there.
I think declaring yourself a Mountaineer fan on 5AF is probably making yourself more of a target than calling yourself an ISIS supporter or a Neo- Nazi.

WVU playing a tough schedule so far would mean a lot more if the rest of their schedule consisted of a team with more than 4 wins. They have 4-5 Texas, 0-9 Kansas, 3-6 Iowa St, and 2-5 Kansas St left.

Is EPP really just a college student with a victim complex?
