My final 4 guess:
Clemson
Bama
Winner of OK state and Baylor
ND
OSU is gonna get stomped by Michigan

Furthermore, ND sucks so it will be great watching them get trounced by a top four team

With their clearly-a-backup backup quarterback.Maybe this is wishful thinking, but there is no way OSU should finish the season undefeated. In yet another game, they are putting up a very mediocre result against an average-to-bad opponent. It's been so frustrating seeing them constantly squeak by every game
Cardale Jones cannot run the offense. I don't know what he did last year that worked so well, but he's not doing it this year. The scoring stats with him in vs. Barrett is night and day.
If Barrett were in v. Minny, we would've put up 40.

Someone who works closely with Duke posts this the same day UNC's football team demolished Duke? Hmmmm sounds like a whole bunch of sour grapes trying to take the spotlight off of how bad UNC destroyed them. Nothing to see here.

Temple and Pitt the only PA teams to get a vote in the coaches poll

Getting one vote isn't much to crow about, admittedly.

So, I guess my Alma Mater will now get shutout on our own merits instead of a forfeit. Ya-freaking-hoo.

I still cannot for the life of me figure out what is going on at Mizzou.
It seems like the two choices are either the Klan runs U of M or everyone is a giant baby SJW weenie.

Story in a nutshell:
People don't like being called the N word (which near as I can tell are the only race related complaints) and that makes it a "hostile and unsafe campus" (there's been no documented racial physical violence that I have read). Instead of showing empathy, the system Prez basically acts aloof and rolls his eyes. His only crime is being tone deaf, and therefore was impossible to communicate with to improve any race relations on campus*. This only emboldens the SJWs into making him part of the system that oppresses minorities. The same system and enrollment that elected a gay, black man as student body president (that's some serious oppression).
There was no hope going forward with discussions with the system Prez. He had poisoned the waters through his lack of empathy. Nevermind that campus policies are the work of the Chancellor, who has acted swiftly, if not forcefully, and that there was already a system wide task force working on metrics to improve the educational experience of minorities that was commissioned in June '15 and set to release its recommendations in April '16.
**The flash points have been the Student Body Prez being called the N word by a truck full of rednecks, and the Black Legion's homecoming skit practice (in a public place) being interrupted by a man on his cellphone that was displeased with being told where on public property he should be allowed and also used the N word to voice his displeasure. The most infamous though is the much satired #poopswastika on a stall door. The fantom pooper and cell phone guy are both no longer at the university due to disciplinary reasons.
Somewhere in all that the grad student who was originally protesting the cancelling of graduate assistant's healthcare (a byproduct of Obamacare legislation) helped pivot his grievances into a racial issue. He then convinced the football team that since they obviously weren't making any impact on the field this season, they should do so off the field.

Thanks for the summary Cbear. Honestly, until yesterday, I had no idea what was going and still don't.
I was trying to figure out what the Prez did to get ousted.

Mizzou has 2895 faculty, 96 of which are black. To reach 10% black faculty, they need to hire 215 new all black faculty (311 / 3110), or fire and replace 193 white faculty (289 / 2985).

Why would they have to do that...?
2015-2016 College Football Thread
Demands 1 & 2 were ridiculous and personal. They have very little to do with changing the "climate" at the university.
#3 is basically the same as the 4-8.
#4 was already done by Loftin for all incoming students; I'm sure faculty has to undergo harassment training, so in 3 years this would already be complete by actions that were already in place.
#5-8 Hire more people from our peer group so that it's easier for us to relate our experiences and connect with faculty because we share a more common cultural experience. Makes plenty of sense, but this was already a target of the task force Wolfe set up in the spring and was working on, and metrics hadn't been set (10% is a extreme from where they are today). Obviously not quick enough for the protesters.
This isn't #historyinthemaking, this is a personal vendetta against an administrator that was unpopular with a section of the student body due to his aloof nature (and the rest of the student body didn't know who the system Prez was until Sunday morning).
Today's a bit of a shock coming from the same school that stood by Elson Floyd
