Tater chips that happen to be cooked in Lard. e.g. something you don't want to make a habit about eating.

I’m a regular kettle chip guy primarily however our ongoing (once COVID is over) snack challenge at work still has the Lays Crispy Taco as the defending champion.

Layers of flavor.

McDonald's fries used to be fried in tallow. Now they're not.
There's a fantastic episode of Revisionist History about that.

They aren't terrible but I don't care for them that much either.

A local warehouse store who supplies vendors was giving them away. They expired a few days ago. I got some of them, but more importantly a case of miss vickies jalapeño kettle cooked.

Interesting. I'm not actually a fan of lard chips...too heavy. I usually end up getting Baked Lays or Ruffles.

I rarely eat potato chips. Maybe once a month at most. I’ve been eating a **** ton of the puffed chickpeas, Hippeas. Their BBQ and Nacho flavors are great and they’re relatively healthy

My new favorite is Herr's Kettle Honey Sriracha (purple bag).

Perfect mix of sweet and spicy.
