5000 IU a day. Every day, all year long.I started supplementation year as well and it did indeed seem to help. How much do you take a day? And do you stop when it's nice out again?

Thanks for the input, fellas. I do take 5000 IU of D3 every day. Since bariatric surgery, I have to get my vitamin levels checked every year. Just had that done a few weeks ago and my D level was very good.
There are some cheapie type lamps on Amazon. I'm going to give one a try and see if that helps at all. Can't hurt, right?

I have noticed some season affective disorder this year and last year, I think the transition to full time remote has been a big driver there. It’s days where it’s already dark by the time I am ready to take the dogs for a walk

Better hope CEOs don't read these comments. They're going to have a new reason for getting back to the office.

This is what pisses me off about the DLS thing. We were all happy to see it possibly going away next year, then some whack job says wait, what about the people that wake up by the sun coming through their windows? Those people are going to be very cranky! Politicians buy the BS and we're back to square 1.

I've been going into the office a little more during the past few weeks, just to get out of the house and it has really helped. But that is just me. After what I went through earlier this year, I need all the mental help I can get so I don't get back to that place. I was at my worst in Feb/Mar when the days still sucked and dark.

82* high with a real feel of 87. If you believe in a greater being, you probably would ask for that greater being for this sort of weather for a summer solstice.
This gentleman feels pretty grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the solstice despite several obstacles including the yinzers out front re-paving the street after the water company replaced a water main; the fact that the iPad is losing power despite being plugged in; the Pittsburgh Pirates collapse, which is so bad I’m running out of memes and cultural references to describe it; and most importantly, the Pitt-like round of golf the kangaroo had at Bedford Springs on monday (9 over thru 15, 7 over on the last 3 holes).
So as usual i will ask everyone to give thanks for the good things you have in life. Chloe the dog is laying on my foot as i write this. I’ve got a delicious cup of homemade iced coffee next to me. I have a good home and a good job. The landscaping looks kind of OK. I spend my free time complaining about pitt and the pirates. Life aint so bad.
Enjoy it you ballers.

I will be working and then setting up the porch lights and plant holder for our disturbingly underutilized screened in porch. A fan probably isn't a bad idea.

Doesn’t feel much like summer in Jersey with a cool wind as I chase women golfers around. But it does beat the steambath that is in full swing in O-town.

Set my alarm for 540 so that I could have coffee ready to drink on my back porch at 549am sunrise. Tended to my gardens, did a little bit of work, left at 715 for my first tee time.
Rough go on the course. Had 4 triples and 2 doubles on the first 6 holes. Finished the front bogey bogey par for +18 on 9 lol. Shot +8. on the back (shrug).
Finished around 11am. Next tee time is at 410.
