Thank you Kenneth. I anticipate the baseball team I coach's game will be washed out on account of our field being a swamp. So now I will plan some outdoor activities with friends and/or the doggo. It's a good day

Have to go to a grad dinner at Springfield Grille, but if it doesn't run too long, I plan on reading a book out on my deck with a glass of rye.

Stays light til just before 9pm here in Minnesota which is advantageous cuz if we get any delays in play, we’re gonna need all that light to get back on schedule.

I’d rather be playing...or beaching...or grilling...or all 3. But that’s next week.

Sister is visiting today, we're heading to the Pirates game to watch fireworks and celebrate birthdays. Looks like there's finally gonna be good weather tonight.

The first day of summer coincides with parent's night out at our daughter's school. They stay open until 9 tonight! Sun is shining, nice breeze, house is opened up....beautiful man.

My sister in law and family are having one hell of a Midsommar party today in Sweden. The sun rose at 4:30 am and set around 10PM, with twilight for 45 minutes or so. Crazy!

I am taking the canine pal for a walk at 9:10 after coaching a group of little misfits to a doubleheader sweep to move to 4-13 on the season. It's a good solstice

4. Please spend the longest day of the year doing the outside activity of your choice....golf, beer, grilling, farting around with your kids or dogs or dogs and kids in the backyard, whatever.

5. Enjoy it you ballers.
Done and done. Spent it camping with wife and friends in Kansas. Stayed up well past sunset helping a friend get his car ready for the track the next morning. Perfect.

Ballers,

The sunset today (tonight) is at 4:57 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Today is the winter solstice. I will be spending the day a. Being exhausted by this condensed holiday season b. Going to a party around the time of sunset c. Reminding myself that while this weather may suck, the pirates may suck, pitt may kinda suck, the stillers are facing a decade lost at sea, and everyone on the pens is hurt, we can still enjoy the good things in life, and the winter solstice is a good thing.

Enjoy it you ballers. And yes, the appropriator @willie Kool counts as a baller, even though he hasn’t posted in a month.

I was less than 2 days from getting two summer solstices this year. Instead, I got two sunrises yesterday.

Travel there is fun. I remember my July 10, 2010 was about 47 hours long and November 21 was pretty much non-existent. Fun stuff
