Bros

It’s 8:01 on December 21 2023. It is the winter solstice and the sun rose approximately 22 minutes ago. The sun will set at 4:56 but honesty that seems like fake news because it’s pitch dark at like 3:45 these days.

The kangaroo had some ups and downs this year, and honestly it would be nice to get a refresh with a new year. Maybe try and build in some of the positives of this year and forget some of the negatives.

In the meantime, enjoy complaining about George Pickens in total darkness you ballers.

10:30 tonight, the globe starts tilting back the other way.

I actually do pretty well with SAD in the fall because of all the holiday stuff going on. It really hits me hard on January 2, so nice that sunsets have been slowly getting later for two weeks already.

Our city has a nice solstice thing tonight with a bonfire and carriage rides and food trucks and stuff so hitting that up for a little. But a far cry from having 30 friends over and smoking brisket and playing backyard games with beers on tap and golf and pirates on the TV
