I've never heard of that. I also don't know why the two options are "risking health" and "wearing the SHIELD gear." Couldn't he wear anything that covers the belt? Why does it have to be the SHIELD vest?

Brock Lesnar is a free agent.

Any chance AEW lands him?

semi-wrestling related: the word "jabroni" has officially been added to the dictionary.

Thank you, Rock. Thank you, Sheiky.

WWE has reportedly banned talent from associating themselves with third party sites such as Twitch and Cameo. They also have claimed that they own the wrestlers real names as well to try to prevent them from profiting outside of WWE.

The wrestlers really need to band together and put an end to this “independent contractor” ****.

Yeah, agreed. The time has long passed to make them W-2 employees. Crazy WWE is still doing that in 2020.

Apparently streamers and others have just changed their names from their WWE names to their legit names. The initial report of not wanting them on the sites may have been exaggerated. Instead they just don’t want them to use their WWE names.

I get it, I guess. Somebody might say something stupid on a stream or Cameo and marks could think it’s WWE’s character saying it? It’s pretty short sighted on WWE’s part though. Paige makes 30-40k per month on Twitch. Not only is she just not going to give that up, but those thirsty viewers could easily turn into eyes on WWE product.

WWE is losing the under 30 crowd quickly. This will only hurt that. On the wrestler’s side, as fans get to know them by their “shoot” names, they’re gonna be even better equipped for life after WWE.

That is actually a really solid IPA. I was surprised. Often these "celebrity" projects turn out to be disappointing or mediocre, but this was a real nice surprise in my exchange last year... was not my favorite, but was one of the best vs expectations for sure.

Assuming the cost is not obscene, it is worth trying for sure.

I'd drink it again, and considering the cans are pounders the price wasn't too bad. I think I paid $12 for a four pack.

A late RIP to John Riker, better know as Ralphus. He passed away sometime last year but the news was just announced by Jericho yesterday.
“I sent him an email, (saying) ‘Hey Ralphus, it’s me, Jericho. How are you? Would you like to do my podcast and reconnect?’ He emailed me back and said, ‘Is this the real Chris Jericho?’ I said, ‘Yeah man, this is my number, give me a text or give me call.’ Never heard back from him again. I got big leagued by Ralphus.”

“I just found out he passed away like last year. God bless John Riker, that was his real name.”

I'd buy it at 3 bucks a pop for sure. :thumb:

Ran across this from another link saying that Ralphus made 78k a year as enhancement talent, although that salary might be based per appearance equated over a year vs a full salary of that amount.

Some of those numbers look really low, even by an per-appearance fee. I'm having a hard time believing Jim Neidhart made $46 even on a per-appearance basis. Typo maybe?

I was watching some of Adam Cole's Twitch channel and I had a brief conversation with him about Resident Evil 2 Remake. It's wild that this is a thing now. I can't imagine a 10-year-old Spangler talking to Shawn Michaels or Stone Cold about Ocarina of Time strategies.

60. Another wrestler from our youth gone way too soon. As bad as current WWE is, at least it seems like a much safer environment than even 10-20 years ago. I don't think we'll see the current guys drop as young.

Also if there's one tweet that DIDN'T need a catchphrase hashtag...

Man, they just had the Darkside of the Ring episode on the Road Warriors focusing on Hawk, earlier this year.
