I think McIntyre would benefit from a crowd more, and the Ziggler match is just meh. We all know Ziggler isn't going to do anything serious, so it's kind of meh, really.

This is incredible.

A live event business prospers despite being unable to stage live events. Now, ratings are in the shitter. But they also signed huge tv deals recently. I don’t know when those are up but they can coast for a while without having to really worry about ratings. Also this doesn’t account for the firings. That will be reflected in the next quarter. If anything it shows that they didn’t need to fire them.

RIP to the Shoney's formerly owned by Scott Steiner (2016-20). Looks like another closure as a result of the impact of COVID-19.

A throwback to when he first started his Shoney's ownership:

so apparently the new big thing on RAW last night was some sort of poor man's Fight Club called WWE Underground or RAW Underground with MVP, Lashley, and somebody else. From what Twitter was saying, it was just as bad as it sounded. By the sounds of it, the concept would have sucked just as much 20 years ago as it did last night.

I still don't understand the MVP push. I don't remember him being a main eventer during his first visit in WWE.

So Marty Jannetty is possibly:

a) a murderer
b) a homophobe
c) a racist
d) all of the above
e) some of the above

The “first time.” So he’s made others disappear? Is he implying that he killed this woman too?

I blew by the "first time" comment when I originally read it, then was like "what does he mean the first time? Are there more?"

I didn't think about that until I saw somebody else mention it.

I went to his FB page and the comment is gone.

Now, the Columbus Police Dept. in Georgia tells us straight up, "We are going to look into this."

In fact, a spokesperson from the homicide/cold case division says, "The first step will be seeing if we have any missing persons or unidentified remains cases that match the limited information in the post."

The CPD notes that they have "several current active homicide investigations underway and they will have to remain the priority" -- so, it won't be an all hands on deck situation right now.

We've reached out to Jannetty for comment several times -- but haven't heard back. The Facebook post has since been removed from his page.

I don't know if he did it, if he didn't do it, or if there was even a real weed dealer that was thrown in the drink, but this can't be helping his cause.

For his own sake, he should probably stop taking interviews.

Raw Underground is incredibly stupid. A worked shoot fight during a wrestling show is simply a bad idea. What you're saying, maybe subconsciously, is that Underground is REAL while the rest of the BS on this show is fake. If that's the case, why should you care about anything happening in the ring? It's the same issue that Brawl for All had but at least people won't be getting injured.

On August 5, 2020, Harris tested positive for COVID-19 and was hospitalized. He likely contracted it from one of his numerous weekly visits to the dialysis center, his wife said. Due to COVID-19, he started to experience complications from his diabetes. He then went into cardiac arrest on August 9, 2020, before dying later that afternoon, at the age of 70.
