At first, I kinda laughed about it and thought maybe they were doing it as a joke. Like completely no-sell the empty arena and act like people are booing or cheering. But after seeing it for the third or fourth time, I started thinking "no, this isn't right. Why do you keep looking out for a reaction? Nobody is there. Stop doing that!"

I think I've made the comment in here before similar to that tweet, where I compared the empty arena to a bad rehearsal. And because Vince probably uses 84 script writers, everything is being performed to the letter.

On the other hand, you can tell AEW is being a lot looser with their promos and just letting the wrestlers be creative.

I didn't think I'd be onboard with this dual Money in the Bank match that takes place throughout the whole building, but it's been kinda entertaining.

Pretty sure they broke it off last year at some point.

may have even been longer than that. I think they split things off before she got back with WWE.

(checks wikipedia)

I wouldn't have guessed they split sometime in late 2017.

Yeah unfortunately she seems to be one of those women that is attracted to losers/bad hombres.

Like almost 2 years ago now, IIRC. Right around the time she came back into the WWE.

Not to be judgy, but just look at her - she had a very different way of growing up, it kind of makes sense.

Now to me, she looks like a few girls I've graduated with, doing all they can to keep up this emo girl/grunge lifestyle, even as they hit mid-30s.

So Becky Lynch is pregnant and had to vacate the title. Good for her I guess? Given she's in the prime of her career and started to pursue acting, can't say this is ideal for her. Shayna Baszler cut a brutal yet hilarious promo on it.

Ex-WWE Star Shad Gaspard (Cryme Tyme) Goes Missing During Beach Swim, Lifeguards Searching
https://www.tmz.com/2020/05/18/ex-wwe-s ... -incident/

Shad Gaspard and his son were among swimmers caught in a rip current while swimming at Venice Beach. His son was rescued while Shad is still missing. This happened yesterday, so it's not looking good.
One witness at the scene tells us ... when lifeguards raced into the ocean, Gaspard directed rescuers to help his son first, which they did.

Body found at Venice Beach identified as former WWE star who went missing days earlier

At least the family will have some closure but Jesus how sad. He sacrificed himself to save his 10-year-old son. Something every parent would do, but still incredibly heroic.

His story is he was drunk and the face bruises were tripping over the dog while sober. Girlfriend said not to do the cameo videos while drunk, but Bagwell said there is a turnaround time on them before they are refunded. DDP also called him to see if he was ok.

FB video is like 12 minutes long but gets very repetitive after about 3-4 minutes.

The Dark Side of the Ring episode on Owen Hart was another rough watch.

The WWE did a very good job of pushing their narrative as to what took place for years, but seeing that curtain pulled back, this is more jacked up than I even thought. Somehow Vince is in every story, and somehow manages to look worse every time, even when you think your opinion of him can't go any lower.

When his wife shows that clip and how easy it was to open... yikes. Owen never had a chance.

The creators of the show did a podcast with Conrad Thompson this season (on his Grillin' JR channel)... recommend giving it a listen if you are into that sort of thing. You get a lot of behind the scenes info on how the episodes came together, extra stories, things that didn't make the show, etc.

One of the things they talked about, and I can't remember if this was touched on in the show or not, was that despite the fact that at the time the WWE couldnt figure out what to do with him, it wasn't too much longer before guys like Jericho, Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Benoit came over, and it's very possible that he could have had some amazing matches with those guys.

I guess currently there is no official word on a 3rd season, but I've really enjoyed this show, even if it is hard to watch at times due to how emotional some of these stories are.

Season 2 could have been named "The Burial of Vince". Not a good look for him.
