There is the huge pop.

Will they strap the rocket to McIntyre?

He's been face for a bit I think? I don't watch weekly though.

I haven't watched in about a month. I know he was getting cheered one week after he repeatedly claymored somebody, but he wasn't exactly cheered on the way in.

McIntyre makes the most sense to win. Which means Reigns will win.

Eh, I'll take it.

Good to see a different face (not wrestling face but face in general) win, but it was essentially a 15 man Rumble.

Hes a founding member of 3MB of course hes face.

But yeah they dont explain turns at all anymore. I think a couple weeks ago he just started claymoring bad guys and now hes a rumble winner.

The right guy got put over. I'll take it. They at least told a cohesive story throughout the rumble that made sense. The first half I didn't care for too much, but storywise for the payoff it made alot if sense. Baby steps.

Overall there was nothing offensive on this show. Lacey still stinks and Roman/Corbin shouldn't have gotten 30 minutes but nothing was God awful.

Happy for Drew to get his chance to shine. He's grown alot since his first stint on the main roster way back when.

That return was awesome, but FFS, it's one of the biggest returns in WWE history and they CAN'T SHOW THE EFFING GUY!? Good lord I hate the camera work in this product.

They also missed his first spear once he got to the ring. I'm not sure if having no stage and them coming through the dugout threw the camera men off or not, but there was a lot of missed stuff last night.

So is Edge legit back for a short run or was it a Rumble and done situation?

It's because Dunn wants to keep doing the strobe light camera thing that he does and change camera angles constantly. He does it so much that it almost makes it hard to keep up with what's going on, especially in the case of the Rumble where there are multiple people in the ring.

Without trying to sound too old or "back in my day...", go back to having 4-6 basic angles facing the ring and maybe 2-3 cameras facing the entrance ramp. In some cases, less is more. You don't need every slackjawed reaction from the crowd during a 2 count. You don't need to change the camera each time someone gets hit. I don't even want a camera closeup when someone is hitting their finisher since it basically gives away the ending of the match when it zooms in that close.

They also broke the 180 degree rule a few times which is something I've haven't seen them do. Normally you never see the reverse angle of the hard cam but I noticed it multiple times and it was always a jarring transition.

I agree, go back to basics. A hard cam, two or three handhelds at ring side (not crossing the 180 degree line) and a few stationary cameras placed throughout the arena. It's really not difficult.

I've read he signed a 3 year deal with limited dates.

:thumb: Next question. How? How can his neck go from "one more bad bump and you're paralyzed" to "hey you're 46 years old now. Give it a go for 3 more years."

That I have no idea on. It seems like a risk, but I guess he was able to get medically cleared, so something had to have changed.

This is the article i was referring to in regards to the 3 year deal.

The Orton/Edge segment last night was fantastic. Orton got HUGE heat. It's crazy .... you have two guys who play off each other well, and the segment comes across as genuine and authentic and not some forced garbage.
