Roar of the crowd? Bullshit, those were boos.
Vince was the smart one here. He had the crowd thinking that Bruan was going to immediately challenge, so they were cheering as it went off air because they thought Braun was going to take the belt, lmao.

That being said, that's the first one I've watched in a long time via streaming. I doubt I'll ever do it again, and that was a turd event. I'll probably end up watching an NXT event, as that seemingly is the better product right now.

Also, the Rousey post-match celebration was a cringe-fest. I just don't know how anyone takes her seriously after seeing her bust as bad as she did at the end of her UFC career. She rag-dolled bliss, but it was like the same 3 moves...

So you're saying the next Botchamania will be good?

I dont even know if it counts a botch she was doing it so much. Coach was playing it off that Ronda was so confident that she was telling Alexa what she was going to do next and Bliss still couldn't stop her  Which is actually a pretty smart cover, no idea how Coachman thought of it.

Not all that unusual for someone like Rousey who has barely any training to be calling spots whenever she is in there with someone just as inexperienced. Obviously should not call them loudly, but I don't think it's all that odd.

Cena calls his spots like he is talking through a megaphone haha.

I still think overall Summerslam was the best PPV they have put in on a while(not counting takeovers). Solid matches, solid booking and stuff that all made sense overall.

I had no problem with Rousey's match last night. The post-match celebration with the Bellas was weird, but whatever. At least the crowd immediately booed when they jumped in the ring. Rhonda is crazy over and putting the belt on her was the right move.

Overall I enjoyed the show. The majority of the matches were solid, though some of the finishes felt off.

I have no idea why they think it's a good idea to try turn one of their most natural babyfaces heel while keeping one of their most natural heels a babyface. Becky is the female equivalent of Daniel Bryan, and she has the crowd behind her now to boot. The fact that they tried to turn her heel in front of that crowd shows you just how out of touch WWE is.

lol the WWE could be stunned as to why they were cheering for Becky. Charlotte appears to be the female version of Roman Reigns but everyone loves her. It's weird.

WWE is calling Reigns “the fighting champion.” I like it. Balor/Reigns the main event of Raw which will be the first time the Universal title has been defended on Raw since January 17.

God, that era was so ridiculous but 15 year old me misses it soooooooo much. I would give anything to relive that magic again.

I am watching HIAC, and I had forgotten that the TV monitors were still in the table when Mankind came off the cage. Just crazy.

Wait a second. They turned Braun heel?? Of all people on their entire rosters, they turned Becky and Braun heel to somehow protect, of all people on their rosters, Charlotte and Reigns. No way this blows up in their face like everything else. Just let the goddamn crowd cheer for who they like most.

At least they're righting one wrong.I hope they let Becky continue to be aggressive, though. Just because she's not going full heel doesn't mean she should suddenly return to a happy-go-lucky white-meat babyface.

Braun had a valid point too. He got put thru a table by the Shield. So whats he do? Gives up the briefcase a month in advance to challenge Roman face to face. Then at the end of the night, gets help to beat down The Shield, turns hell, except now has no briefcase while Roman and his friends are just lying there.

Smackdown has been consistently better than RAW. Yesterday we got a taste of Andrade Almas and Daniel Bryan 1-on-1, and it delivered. The Samoa Joe/Styles feud has been solid. Carmella probably had her best match ever against Charlotte, coupled with a pretty cool ambush from Becky. Even last week was a really good show overall, not just 1 or 2 good segments.

I've barely been watching RAW. The difference in writing has been noticeable; seems like Smackdown puts a little bit more thought into what they're doing. Unless they are run by different people with different writers, I don't know why there is that big of a difference.
