I only caught the very end of Raw last night and it was absolutely hilarious. Strowman is such an over-the-top character but for some reason it just works. I don't really understand how.

Gallows and Anderson have removed all reference to WWE from their Twitter bios leading people to speculate that they are the next to leave the company. Wouldn't be surprised.

maybe it's the full-on transformation to Tex and Chad. :pop:

Not gonna lie, if they aired head to head, I'd watch SRW over the current Raw right now.

So I just saw on SquaredCircle that Impact is literally paying people to attend their tapings. A casting agency released a notice looking for extras.

Why would they go on the road if they can't fill the tapings? Universal seems like a pretty decent setup for them. Production costs are low and crowds get in for free. It doesn't help that they chose to go to Ottawa, the professional wrestling hot bed. They'd have an easier time filling "arenas" in Calgary or Toronto.

I saw that the Killing the Town podcast with Lance Strom and Cyrus (???, never heard of this guy) had Madden as a guest last week. Good episode:

He was The Jackal in WWF. Not a very memorable run except for being responsible for the forming of the Oddities. I remember him best from the ECW on TNN days where he represented "The Network."

No clue who or what any of those things are, but the chemistry they have is good. I started listening to their Jericho-Omega episode this morning on the way to work.

 Like I said, not very memorable.

I cut out all wrestling podcasts except Something to Wrestle. I'll listen to the Masked Man show after a PPV but it's not a weekly listen. It just became way too much and I'm not very interested in the current product. Plus, you hear one interview with Sean Waltman, you've heard them all.

I don't watch the current product so my listening is limited exclusively to look back shows which is why Something to Wrestle and WHW WCW with Schiavone are the bulk of what i listen to. Jericho-Omega is interesting enouigh on its own that I want to hear about it.

Think I've mentioned it before but if you like the look back shows, Alvarez from the Observer and a few guys watch every RAW and Nitro from the current week 19 years ago during the Monday Night Wars. It's hilarious just to relive some of that stuff and hear how disgusted they get having to sit and watch it again. Just some awful programming a lot of the times. He's also reviewing every Rumble match with Tom Lawler each week. The last one I listed to was the bed pan incident with Austin and McMahon in the hospital. I went to youtube after listening to that and watched that clip maybe 2 dozen times and laughed each and every time. Might be the single greatest pro wrestling moment thats ever been put on television.

Allow me to revise this -- Cyrus is the wooooorst. He has a yuuuuuuuge opinion of himself. In the space of 30
Mins, he said that he would have been over huge and bigger than anyone else in the promotion had he gone to smoky mountain; that it "was a huge deal" all over town when he was 14 and made the high school football variety team in Winnipeg as a backup, which had "never happened before"; that his biggest regret is not pushing to
Be a wrestler in the WWF instead of a manager only because he would have gotten over big time
Bc of how Great of a heel he was.

Maybe he's playing a heel on this show but these seem to be Genuinely held opinions. I cannot stress enough that I've never heard of this person ever.

Be prepared for ESPN to over run whatever programming they have on before 30 for 30.

Yeah he turned what I assume was originally planned as a one-off into a year and a half run including a few championship matches, a couple major storylines, and a top role in the women's division. He even won the first ever women's money in the bank match.
