WWE advertised Austin and Sting locally in LA for the show. There was Sting and Austin merch at every stand. Of course they weren’t there so the crowd left pissed and chanted “AEW.” Good job, WWE.

Oh and people pop for a surprise. Enough people knew who he was that there was definitely an audible pop. I guess if people really want to see a 10 year old UFC rematch in WWE more power to them. Personally, I couldn’t care less.

By the way, the Cain and Tyson Fury thing happened because Saudi wants MMA stars on their shows. So Cain/Lesnar and Fury/Strowman at the Saudi show this month.

So we still supporting this decision?

so we're an hour in and two match are over. I know they are gonna have some lots of filler and maybe an unannounced match or two, but there's no way they're stretching this thing to 10.

Yeah I’m sure they added matches. There were only 4 announced heading into the event though.

I mean I knew it was tonight, but completely forgot. Would have expected it later in the month. (I will yell till the day I'm gone to bring back Halloween Havoc) Theyll never shut up about the next Saudi show but people like me who tune in every week barely realize when the other ppvs are

By the looks of it, I'm glad that I turned off the PPV. Bray Wyatt does nothing for me and Seth's run as a champ hasn't even been yawnworthy.

I feel like he's nothing more than an "action figure" in the sense that, he's a guy that literally can't do either a babyface or a heel well, and you're left with your own devices to pretend. What I'm trying to say is, dude sucks, and WWE absolutely is trash at making stars, today.

The Rock was the prime example, when he did his thing for a smackdown, albeit a catchphrase-fest, it wasn't like today's catch-phrase where the announcers pound it into your head. He had the crowd absolutely hot and in his hands the entire time. If AEW was meant to be, I feel like they came at the absolute right time, and WWE main (not-NXT) can't get out of their own way.

The ending to Rollins/Fiend(wyatt) was disrepectful to your audience. I mean I know WWE does crap like that alot, but it's just beyond stupid. They booked themselves into a corner so they deserve what they get. If they didn't want to put the title on the Fiend yet, or have Rollins lose the belt.. DONT BOOK THE MATCH! Instead you get that ending which is beyond stupid. I'm glad outside of NXT I don't invest time into their product anymore. I watch highlights here and there and get reminders why I don't watch on a regular basis.

Also on a side note while I think the Fiend character is cool, I don't think Wyatt has improved much at all in the ring, so once the "show" is over and he actually has to wrestle.. I don't think there is much there to get excited about.

To me The Fiend is nothing more than Kane 2.0. Hot character at times, that is really nothing more than mid-card to high-mid-card fodder.

RAW has started off with Rusev in the ring watching Lana in bed with Bobby Lashley on the screen and a Lacey Evans-Natalya Last Woman Standing match. Well we all hoped WWE would get some competition. These past 24 hours are how they answered.

Last person standing matches are the new best out of 3 pinfall time waster matches. I remember when they used these as blow-off matches to great reception. Now they're just common occurrence and it's dumb.

WWE also barely mentioned HIAC results last night.

I had it on in the background while I was remoted into a work computer and don't remember hearing anything about Seth/Bray (I'm not calling him his nickname.) I turned it off around 10 and went to bed.

Yeah Raw was awful. I'm going to give Smackdown one more shot. I'll either just watch Smackdown or go back to only watching PPVs.
