I have been on a binge of old Stone Cold videos lately. They all seem to be coming from an "AttitudePOP" account which is a great repository for these videos.

I couldn't stop laughing at this promo.

I really miss the live backstage interviews where the talent can somehow hear and interact with the live crowd.

The What? stuff was a rough time in the Stone Cold era for me. Plus crowds continued to what for far far too long. Hell, it sometimes still happens. I love the angry af Stone Cold from 97/98. In his later run he turned into a bit of a caricature of himself.

Agreed, I definitely prefer early Stone Cold. Hate the "What" stuff nowadays.

Even today, the what stuff has ruined so many promos.

The "What?" chants are a blight on wrestling. A lot of people hate it, yet people still chant it.

jesus, the what promos are even worse than I remembered.

The thing is, the promo itself was great, but the what'ing added literally nothing to it.

Stone Cold probably had the power to kill these things off early.

I agree with nocera, I loved 96-99 Stone Cold much more than 01-03 Stone Cold. I don't think people will ever stop "what"ing.

To this day, this is one of my favorite pops in the history of wrasslin.

I noticed that the WWE cuts through every single chair headshot. They are all edited out. But man, that pop when The Rock wins.

Effing Nia ruins the only interesting match for the weekend and halts the best push of the year because she sucks. That's like 6 people she's seriously injured and nothing will happen because shes related to Dwayne.
