I thought I saw something on Kevin Nash's podcast that he and his son both agreed to stop drinking and that one of the things that can result from going cold turkey if you are a heavy alcoholic is seizures.

I was looking at the card for Dynamite and I can't say I'm super excited.

The good:

FTR vs Swerve in Our Glory
MJF

The rest:

Jericho + Garcia vs Claudio + Wheeler - oh boy a slightly different configuration of JAS vs BCC that will end in shenanigans.

Danielson vs Guevara - I don't even want to see Sammy at this point. Not sure why he keeps getting these matches.

Jamie Hayter... Vs Riho - no win situation for Hayter. She'll win, but be forced to act like this 5 pound girl can actually hurt her along the way, and the win means nothing.

Moxley vs Penta - why? Zero story, Mox already has his ppv match set... Spend the time building Mox vs MJF instead.

I'm trying real hard to stay positive but I just can't take this Riho garbage. Poor Jamie.

So Punk's camp tried to push this narrative all the sudden that Larry the dog had teeth knocked loose when the door was "kicked in".

According to Meltzer, this has been confirmed to be a "total fabrication" by several people who were there.

Gonna go out on a limb and say the investigation didn't go Punk's way and they're trying to throw anything at the wall to make it stick now.

Interesting thing is the Punk stuff is coming from the guy he attacked at the scrum for being friends with Cabana. I guess they kissed and made up if he chose him as his outlet.

I'm guessing that we probably won't ever get to hear the Elite's side of this.

Yeah the Observer said that following the scrum, Punk "researched" the reporter and Cabana's relationship, found they were no longer friends, and apologized to him. Totally plausible that Punk gave him this "scoop" as a make good. Meltzer also said that the Elite are back on TV and are "not allowed" to talk about the incident. So you're right, we probably won't get the full story until everybody is old and doing shoot interviews for quick cash.

I just don't care anymore. Punk can disappear into the shadow realm and piss and moan about how unhappy he is. Dude did it to himself.

He should have stayed retired, so he could protect his legacy. Now he has an older generation and a new one thinking he's a pissant diva.

No way you can bring Punk back and alienate the whole locker room. He dug his own grave and this is coming from someone who really got into AEW alot more when Punk announced his come back.

It's a damn shame. If not for the injury and meltdown we could be getting Punk-MJF 2 which was easily one of the best feuds they've had.

There is no way you could possibly bring him back at this point, not that he can wrestle any time soon anyway.

We never even got to see him with Danielson or Omega. What a waste.

That was... something. Ending/post match...
A fake Sting appeared after Sonjay and Singh were ejected and hit Darby in the ribs with a bat... the big reveal... Cole Carter. What a popcorn fart.

Then in the aftermath, Jeff Jarrett arrived.

I'm not sure which reveal was worse... the guy literally no one knows or gives a hairy **** about... or the old guy way past his expiration date that no one gives a hairy **** about.

Both as part of a faction no one gives a hairy **** about.

I like Lethal as a heel and he has good chemistry with Darby but the sideshow is terribad.

I also dont know why Mox is fighting Lee Moriarty in an eliminator match. Makes no sense and I hate this matches to begin with.

Now we have Jericho defending the ROH title on an aew show against someone I probably won't care about.

Not a good start IMO.
