TK has no clue how to book the women. Why is Storm (the champ) eating the pin in that tag match?

That’s hilarious. Although I gotta think anyone watching at home that doesn’t know anything about internet wrestling culture we’re just super confused. Still, that has to be one of the biggest moments in Luigi’s life. Thanks for posting!

Seems like the crowd was hot, and the matches are trending back to what AEW was like prior to the WWE stars being mass-hired, which is a very good thing.

My favorite part of the pizza clip is Page completely breaking character when Danhausen appears. Fun segment overall.

The Acclaim finally winning the titles was one of the biggest pops in a long time.

I guess neck is all good these days.
Not sure why this Britt/Hayter split is still dragging on.

Real good match for the main event but not sure I like the finish. I love Mox but I was hoping for a Danielson title run.

Tony's booking of the women continues to be mystifying. We basically had the same match as the PPV, but with a couple different parts, and Britt and Hayter are somehow working together for the beatdown after the match? dafuq?
re: spoiler,
Overall though was a pretty good show. I was hoping for Danielson, but my guess is that Mox only holds the title till Full Gear at the latest and will drop it to MJF and they don't want to 'waste' a BD title reign with a short run. Also Mox-MJF have some history.

Agree with wishing it was Danielson. Mox feels like a step backward or hitting the reset button.

Madden had a great zinger, and I think it's actually what's sapped my interest in AEW.
It's "All Ex WWE." Like, they've strayed pretty far from the path, and it's really just not that exciting to watch anymore.

I still find Dynamite must see television every week honestly. I think the reset they did after the Punk scrum has brought back alot of earlier AEW vibes. It's the only wrestling show that I make sure I watch live every week no matter what else is going on. It's not perfect by any means, but those 2 hours fly by every Wednesday for me. Like I'm not sure how someone could have watched that show last night with that super hot crowd and 5 good to great matches and not find that exciting? I guess you could say there were a few weird booking decisions/finishes depending on what you like, but the actual wrestling and atmosphere was great.
The booking of the women is still my biggest issue currently with the product. They have so many good women wrestlers and have no clue how to give any of them any shine outside of Britt.
Toni with the belt now is good, but they have been teasing the Hayter/Britt breakup forever now and just can't seem to pull the trigger. Now they've added Paige/Saraya to the mix...so its even more women with how little time they get. It's just a cluster every week and they try to do everything in the 15-20 minutes the women are given on Dynamite.
The TBS belt is held hostage by Jade...who has the "it" factor, but feels like they are just spinning their wheels waiting for her to really get great in the ring to then have her finally lose?

My other big problem is how useless the refs are most of the time. They miss everything. It's amazing. I'm not sure why they are even around half the time.
Taz had a line last night saying "the refs are doing a great job"...and I'm like is this some sort dig or something, because the refs are in fact not doing a great job at all.

I think I've said in this thread that they rely too much on former WWE wrestlers. They 100% needed Jericho at the start to legitimize the company. That time has passed yet there's still mostly WWE guys in the title picture, a WWE wrestler debuts every other week, the roster is so damn bloated that most don't make TV or they're relegated to Dark. I truly don't believe they have any sort of plan for these debuts, either. The debuts are there for shock and to pop a rating but soon after these guys join the nameless gray faces. It feels like 2010 TNA right now (except obviously more popular). I think the crowd makes the show better than it actually is.
Okay, maybe it's more 1995 WCW.
