It seems like it was a good PPV from what I have read. It seems like you either loved the tag match and thought it was the best ever or hated it depending on if you liked the Young Bucks style combined with Omega etc. It seems even if it wasn't the best ever, it's still miles better than anything WWE produces.

I have to say, major hat tip to Jericho for his title reign at AEW. Even pushing 50 years old, he did a great job getting the rest of the roster over and was the perfect choice to be the standard-bearer for AEW as they tried to make a big splash early on. Honestly, they couldn't have written that better and Moxley was the right choice to take the title.

Great stuff. There might not be a guy working in the business today that loves pro wrestling as much as Jon Moxley does.

Jericho was the perfect choice for AEW's first champ. He's a huge name who can bring in more casual viewers (or at least lapsed WWE fans). Sure, he's old, but he was full time. It's not like Brock or *shudder* Goldberg. Moxley is a cool choice too, since again he has some recognition from WWE fans so he could draw in that crowd. But my hope is the next champ is an AEW guy and not Cody. TNA got in trouble by overvaluing ex-WWE guys. Don't do that, AEW.

I would imagine it's going to be Omega or Hangman. I think Omega is his best when he's heelish anyways.

How did you guys see the AEW PPV? I cannot go back to paying $50+ for a wrestling show. And yes, I know I'm part of the problem in not supporting them but I just can't justify that cost.

I'll occasionally watch their weekly show but WWE has me so sour on pro wrestling that I'm having difficulty investing the time needed to know the wrestlers/storylines.
I didn't know it was going on until 10-15 minutes after the last match. Usually my box has a list of all PPVs that are happening that night and for whatever reason, this one wasn't listed.

I'm the same way with wrestling at this point: WWE has me so indifferent not to just their product, but to wrestling in general. I realize a few posts ago that I made comments about scratching WM off my list, but that's just more of an event to see vs caring about the product. But that card in its current form does nothing for me.

Back to my thoughts about indifference and AEW: this shouldn't be any fault of AEW, but it's just how it is. I'll try to catch AEW if I'm home on Wednesday nights, but even those nights I just have it on as background noise and will stick my head up if I hear anything that draws my interest.

I was going to make a joke about Paul Bearer bringing him back like he did for Undertaker and Kane all those times, but then I remember he is dead too.

Man, Hangman Adam Page has been so entertaining to watch in AEW. I really didn't care about him that much when he first came on the scene, but they have done a tremendous job building him up. Dude is over like rover.

I'm gonna like Hangman Vs. Matt Jackson while his brother is away for his newborn.

The bigger this gets, the worse it is for AEW. TNT and sponsors will see this and before you know it AEW will apologize, MJF will appear on TV out of character to apologize and explain he was "playing a character," and TNT will announce that AEW is now PG programming and family fun.

With as much **** as he’s “pumped” into his body, im legit surprised he’s still around. Watch a show from 1991 and count the dead steroided up wrestlers.

When you send a prayer for Scott Steiner you have to begin with "Yo God, holla if ya hear me!"

He must have had Kurt Angle with him.

Sounds like something straight out of The Wrestler. Wouldn’t be surprised if I see him at Giant Eagle and he’s tossing me deli meat from behind the counter.
