I think it's going to be Punk Vs. Joe during the summer. That seems to make the most sense to me. I'd like to see Page lose, and either figure out there's more than just title defenses, or decided to crumble again and go heel.
That being said, Page alluded to it last night, Punk is suckering everyone and once he gets the title, he's going to turn his back on the crowd. Which would be awesome.

Punk is slowly burning a heel turn. It's subtle, but it's coming. He will find a way to get people to boo him and it will be glorious.
DON is stacked but it's going to be a looonnnnn show. Still not sure how FTR isn't on the main card.
I think Toni Storm should have gone over Britt last night, as I don't think they are going to have Statlander/Soho beat her.
Thunder Rosa and Deeb should be a great wrestling match, but Rosa's title reign has been an afterthought.
Wardlow and MJF has been built beautifully. Punk and Hangman should be really good as well.

I was really annoyed that Storm didn't win, but I had a feeling it was going to go that way. Baker and Cole are winning the tourney, book it. Hopefully they have something decent planned off of that because otherwise its annoying af.
Wrestling wise I wanted to see Storm vs Statlander. Oh well.
When I step back and think about it, the belts have never meant less across the board. Hangman has cooled off significantly since the Danielson matches, Jurassic Express has been meh as tag Champs, tnt title is a goddamn joke with dumb booking and worse players, thunder Rosa has gotten the **** end of the stick booking wise since she won the title...
The only one that isn't weak is probably the tbs title, but the problem with having a Goldberg like champ there is that you need a continuous stream of people to feed them or it gets really stale fast when they just beat the same people repeatedly. No one gives 2 shits about her stomping Anna Jay again.

Agreed with pretty much everything. Page had a hot story and they capitalized - but after the Bryan matches I'd figure out a way to drop it. With Punk, there's not as much story but Khan said yesterday that since Punk has come in they've had an increase in everything, it's going to be hard not to make him the face of the company, as he should be.
Tag champs, it should be pretty much FTR versus everyone else, but it's always going to include the Bucks and that's kind of annoying.
TNT title, was dead the moment Rusev got hurt. He was really leaning into his gimmick and it was going well. Miss that guy.

Yeah, sucks that Miro got hurt... That started the downward spiral.
That war he had with Kingston at All Out was awesome. And childish as it was, Kingston telling him to "redeem deez nutz" and then Miro winning with the ball shot was hilarious and brilliant all at once.
Supposedly he is healthy now; they need to get him back in the mix asap. Give me a war between him and Hobbs, Keith Lee, or Joe.

I haven't really been impressed with Keith Lee. He had hype in NXT, but since seeing him on TV here, man he's really let his weight go, and I'm not entirely sure how hard he's working to get it down, he's been the same since arriving.

Fair enough. I didn't watch much NXT so it's still fairly new to me.
I am enjoying him and Swerve as a team though. Probably works since Swerve does most of the moving and Lee is just there for the heavy hits and throws.

Yea Lee has always been a big guy, his hype was that he was a big guy that could move pretty freely and do some lightweight moves, but he's carrying probably another 30-50 pounds now since leaving WWE, and that's really slowed him, I think.

I've seen bits and pieces of this, including the famous Dr. D David Schultz slap, but never the full report. It's also surprising to hear Vince's response to the "is it a sport?" question. In a way, I miss kayfabe. Or rather, I miss when the shows and wrestlers at least portraying it as if it's legit. The business was exposed during the Attitude Era and yet we all still believed that Stone Cold wanted to kick everybody's ass for real. That's missing now.

Jesus, 2 more matches added to DoN... Darby Allin v Kyle O'Reilly and the stupid mixed tag match between men of the year + pvz vs Sammy, Tay, and kazarian.
That has to be like 11 or 12 matches now.

That tourney just to get to britt/ruby pt 2. Dumb.
Statlander is hot after a gimmick change and she loses.
All for Britt to win again at the ppv probably? Dumb.

12 matches + 1 on the buy-in. This is going to be a marathon.

He missed fanfest earlier too. I know some are saying work but I don't buy it. If it is a work it's a super shitty one.

No showed fan fest and is flying out of town. That’s… bad. Hopefully he’s okay mentally because this is career suicide.

Yeah I just hope he's ok mentally or there isn't some family thing going on.

Reports were that AEW officials couldn’t get ahold of him. You’d think if it was a family emergency he would be in contact with him. Vince won’t look kindly on somebody who doesn’t stand by their commitments either so it’s not like he’s just gonna run to WWE.Yeah I just hope he's ok mentally or there isn't some family thing going on.

Feel bad for Wardlow.

MJF is probably my favorite homegrown AEW guy. He has a huge future ahead of him. Obviously this is bad business but I hope he’s alright. I figured his frustration with AEW was a work but I guess not.
