Man KO going early next year would be good stuff. Give time to let the others get their footing/place.

His NXT run and first interactions with Cena were great....then not much after. I remember his title run being not great but I was pretty out of the loop by then and not watching much.

Has he done much of anything since his Universal title run and Festival of Friendship stuff? He’s just kind of there.

shafnutz05 Earl Hebner and Duke The Dumpster Droese are gonna be out your way next weekend. I had no idea that Droese was still wrestling. I seem to remember him going to jail a few years ago for something drug related, although I may be confusing him for someone else.

Anyways, I almost snagged tickets from VetTix just to have something to do that night, but then I realized that's about a 5 hr trek for me. Weird, considering my search is set for only 35 miles. I'm not driving 5 hrs to see Duke The Dumpster.

That's not far at all! Would honestly be cool to meet Earl, even if he probably was a sketch ball IRL. So many great AE memories

I've lost track because of the brand switches, never watching Smackdown and keeping RAW on as background noise at best when I was watch watching it, but wasn't he completely off TV for months?

Kevin Owens WWE gimmick seems to be, be friends with a person for awhile, and then turn on them. It's really not that great.

While someone's WWE gimmick shouldn't necessarily be the go/no go decider since we know how ridiculous their creative can be, you need to have something redeemable there... I'm not sure exactly what he brings to the table that they need. But I have only seen him in the past couple years or so in WWE since I started following wrestling again so I'm not sure I can judge.

Yeah as if HHH would do the job for a heart attack.

Hopefully it’s a quick recovery. He’s WWE’s last hope.

I'm pretty sure they made clear signals that they're trying to kill him within the WWE as much as his heart is out of it.

I know the big names in AEW. Each time I watch the roster feels larger. There are so many background dudes. Every big name has a 3-5 person entourage of background dudes.

Less exciting, they hit 100 on the distraction finish counter during the show. And there are still 3.5 months left in the year....

Great for Big E. Shame that it had to happen because the WWE realized people were shifting eyes to AEW and they couldn't get the hint that faces shouldn't ALWAYS be chasing and allow them to hold a belt once in awhile.

It's weird considering WWE has historically been a babyface territory. I can't think of many long term heel champions. HHH, Rock, Roman. Who else?

Could you throw JBL in there? He was champ for almost a year.

Totally. I've tried really hard to forget JBL.

I thought he had a long title reign but had to go to Wiki to confirm.

Odd piece of trivia. John Cena beat JBL at WMXXI for his first title win. Both of their reigns were 280 days on the nose.

CM Punk has the longest title reign since Hogan held it for almost four years in the mid-80s. Hard to believe Punk's title win was ten years ago in November.

Sorry let me re-phrase that. I likened the Big E thing to the crowd having to fight for him to become champion rather than the WWE pushing him there. I considered Big E, Kofi, Daniel Bryan has people the WWE didn't really want to get over, but the crowd had to essentially fight and plead for it. It made for that great moment last night, but it took a grand old time of them chasing and proving themselves unorganically for it to happen.

Hopefully Vince doesn't get bored and just job him out to Brock like they did with Kofi.

Caught up on AEW after All out this morning by watching both Dynamite and Rampage. They still need to get some of their timing better as far as when they take breaks and such, but overall both were good shows following the PPV.

The biggest compliment I can give is neither show dragged, I didn't love every single segment, but nothing was actively bad and the good was really good. Both shows flowed and made sense. Good stuff overall.

The MJF promo on dynamite almost crossed the line, but he is such a good shitbag heel. So So So good.

I've been enjoying AEW a lot. It's been fun to be back into present-day professional wrestling. One question though, where's Cody?
