I liked that finish. Opens the door for MJF feud.
Pro Wrasslin' Thread
Eh you can open that door without going to the throw in the towel finish. I'm just not a fan of that.
Pro Wrasslin' Thread
But I thought that the entire premise of throwing in the towel was ultimately screwing Cody from ever getting a title shot again. I would suspect, MJF will get promo time on Wednesday.
Pro Wrasslin' Thread
Yes, it was. I have no problem with the booking of screwing Cody. It's the act of a "manager" throwing in the towel that is contrived. To me, that's a finish straight from WWE. And that's not a good thing.

I’m confused why that was uploaded by a 90s WWE twitter and has a scratch logo bug. What was that from? WWF On Demand? Or I guess it may have been on the Rise & Fall of ECW Dvd.
Also, “90s WWE” I wish we could get the F in.

Regardless of what you think of Daniel Tosh comedy, his random hatred of Arn Anderson over the years always made me laugh.

and squaredcircle is already filled with fantasy bookings and fanfic about CM Punk.

Not saying he’ll wrestle, but I could see him making an appearance and being involved somehow. The crowd would go **** nuts and it would show the younger/newer fans that Punk is a big deal.

Oh I'll watch for sure. And I'll be disappointed when the only thing he does is lose to HHH at Wrestlemania.

Also, WWE gave the "blessing" for Fox to go ahead and bring Punk in. Doesn't sound like it's a true WWE contract, but it's not like something couldn't happen.

WWE was promoting the hell out of Backstage on Smackdown and RAW. They announced everyone on the panel. With CM Punk in the mix, I'm sure they would promote him being on the panel, while doing commercial spots on RAW and Smackdown, which is weird when you think about it.

Well last week's episode averaged 49k viewers. That's embarrassingly low. Just to give you some context, the final Impact show on the Pop network had 151K viewers. I'm not surprised that WWE is doing all they can to promote it.WWE was promoting the hell out of Backstage on Smackdown and RAW. They announced everyone on the panel. For some odd reason, Charlotte Flair decided to step in and defend Randy Orton after his N word usage was brought up. With her own checkered past, what a bad look.

what is her checkered past?

During a 2008 traffic stop, Charlotte was: “the aggressor in a physical and verbal tirade . . . directed at the responding police officers, as well as disparaging and racist comments being directed at the Afro-American community in Chapel Hill.”what is her checkered past?
She was also tasered for kicking an officer during that same stop.
