I'm on the fence with it. It's so over the top that you can't stop laughing, but after awhile its like "ok, we get it."

WWE severely downplayed Paige's injury. I was shocked to see her come out to the ring as if nothing happened. Looks like she will just be a mouthpiece for that faction she's in.
Are they seriously using Matt Hardy's laugh in his entrance music?
Did he even do the laugh in TNA because that's not what I remember about his gimmick?

re: Strowman - wasn't that the second time he's flipped a truck? Why re-use the same gimmick to show he's strong? Why does he even need that gimmick again? I think people are smart enough to know he's a beast.

I liked that Braun (auuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnn!!) flipped a tracker trailer on its side then had difficulty dragging Michael Cole across the stage.

why is seemingly every title match they do at big PPVs more than two people (triple threat, etc)? how long has it been like this

It's even worse on the women's side. I can't remember the last time I saw a 1 on 1 women's match. All they do is multiple people matches anymore.
Pro Wrasslin' Thread
It's a side effect of not having one major star. They've gone with 50/50 booking which has failed to produce one stand out star (aside from Roman, who the crowds hates). Because of this, they feel they have to have multiple wrestlers in a match in order for the fans to care. Nobody in their right mind would care about a Kane vs Lesnar match. But Kane vs Lesnar vs Braun? Sure. Though this match in particular maybe due more to the greenness of Braun. Sure he's improved greatly since his debut, but he's still green as grass and wouldn't be able to carry a Lesnar match on his own.
That said, multi-person matches were a staple of the Attitude Era as well, when they had plenty of stars to go around.

Those 2 fatal fourways they had in Pittsburgh on RAW to determine who goes for the Universal Title were awesome. Two of the most fun matches I remember seeing live.

At the house show in Pittsburgh last month about 80% of the matches were multiwrestler matches of some sort. Though I would chalk that up to giving the performers a lighter workload.
I watched the mixed tag match on Facebook because I was curious how it would work. The match wasn't bad at all, but the Facebook integration is awful. Anytime someone hits the like button (which is often), an icon floats across the screen. You can't even hide the terrible chat like you can on Twitch. Fortunately, if you switch to fullscreen mode, it will take away the chat window and not show the floaty icons.

Very unsafe to be wearing that sort of thing in that environment. Jeans and a long sleeve shirt would have been much more understandable.Lana in a bikini milking a cow, if you're in to that sort of thing.

Saw this short rant in the Drew Magary column today, and it gave me a good laugh. I do miss that old-school campiness.
• Time for a second hot take! WWE wrestler names SUCK now. I grew up with Jake the Snake and Bret “Hitman” Hart and Adorable Adrian Adonis and the Fabulous Moolah. Look at this roster now. It reads like the **** UVA lacrosse team. Bo Dallas? Heath Slater? What the **** is this? I’m not watching any of these boringly named dadholes. These are jobber names. Bayley? GTFO. Seth Rollins’s real name Colby Lopez. Why’d he even bother to change it? Change your stage name to THE MURDERHUNTER, and maybe I’ll tune back in. The WWE has completely abandoned campiness and it makes me sad. MORE ANVILS FEWER BROCKS.

Yeah! What happened to the cool wrestler names like Duke the Dumpster Droese or Isaac Yankem DDS or Bastian Booger or Aldo Montoya: The Portuguese Man of War?

That goes along with when wrestling was awesome also. When the guys all had other occupations.

Come to think of it, are Kane and Golddulst the last two "gimmick" type wrestlers left in WWE? You have Velveteen Dream in NXT, but everyone has a real name.Yeah! What happened to the cool wrestler names like Duke the Dumpster Droese or Isaac Yankem DDS or Bastian Booger or Aldo Montoya: The Portuguese Man of War?
