Seth's run as baby face champ has been lackluster at best. It doesn't help that WWE has pushed the super couple angle. Even ignoring that, though, he's been bad. He's just not a babyface.

I posted it was on and yet I still forgot. Read the results and checked out the highlights on Reddit. Actually seems like it was a decent show. And then they had Brock cash in and take the title from Seth. Yet another Lesnar Universal title reign. Lolz.
I bet Seth wins it back at Summer Slam.
I wouldn't care about Brock winning if he would show up to RAW more than once per quarter.

I'm sure I'm exaggerating on the amount of time between appearances, but there was a stretch either this year or last where I couldn't remember who had the belt because it hadn't been defended in forever.

Mainstream media is picking up on WWE's shitty ratings.

Once A Juggernaut, WWE Sees Its Ratings Tank

Vince ain't gonna like that.

Here's something I didn't know:
SIMON: Do they have an aging demographic?

KONUWA: They have a very aging demographic. No audience is getting older faster than the professional wrestling audience. You know, they're up there with NASCAR and all these different sports.

I knew NASCAR's demo was rapidly aging, didn't realize that about pro wrasslin'.

Which beggars the question as to why they have been so hell-bent on pushing the "family entertainment" stuff.

Pro wrestling demographics are very much older generation folks. They talk about that on squared circle all the time, and that's my main argument. Why gear it for kids, when you have adults actively watching, who will casually bring their family into, anyways?

What does "they're up there with NASCAR and all these different sports" mean? All of these different sports?

In real sports everyone doesn't get a trophy. Can't support that...

All I know is I have two nephews, both play sports - basketball, baseball, soccer - and neither of them watch sports on TV. They wear the gear, but couldn't give two shits about the actual broadcasts.

I mean wrestling has a stigma behind it, and I just think kids nowadays go right to the technical as they get a cellphone earlier and earlier. I'd have to image video games and espots are killer.

While I'll still flip back and forth from the Pirates, they're promoting this RAW Reunion pretty heavily and I just have next to no interest. They've done it a thousand times already for a cheap ratings boost. Hogan's gonna come out and mess up a bunch of lines, then Watchagunnado his way to the back. The Rock will give a 45 minute promo that will go on 35 minutes too long, Flair will wooo, Stone Cold will come out at the end and not say anything and chug a beer.

I'm in for it, just to see how bad it's gonna be.

If there was a bingo card for this event, Hogan messing up the location would more than likely be the center square. DX will come out and make several "we can't say that anymore" jokes. Flair will wooo at least a dozen times. I didn't think The Rock was gonna be there. Maybe he is. Maybe he isn't. Either way - to steal his phrase - it doesn't matter.

It's usually the same people brought back, all because Vince can't create any new stars. How many stars from the 2000s will be there? I guess The Rock and Stone Cold kinda count, but they got big in the 90s and carried over into the 2000s. Same with HBK and HHH, and I guess you can add the semi-retired Cena in there too.

The only thing I want to see if if the "glass shatters" sound still gets a decent pop when Austin comes out. If that doesn't happen.. then you know no one gives a **** about anything anymore.

I do think a lot of the issues about "not wanting to create stars" anymore is a major problem for the WWE. They hammered it with Roman, and it seems to be that he naturally couldn't carry himself to it.

I'd be curious if that ever switches, as the last "star" seems to be Brock, and they outright haven't really built anyone that could carry the WWE.

The vast majority of the damns were well placed.

DX putting down OC is peak WWE. DX looked haggard and eventually, they're gonna have to stop trotting that group out. Bray looked like a star, hopefully, they don't have him jobbing to Finn before the summer is over.

The only thing I watched was the Stone Cold promo from the end of RAW, and of course that was great.

I flipped to it a few times and saw the DX part. Sean Michaels' right leg is messed up. His knee bends out to the side a considerable distance.

I watched the highlights on r/squaredcircle. That made it fairly enjoyable. The best use of the legends was Bray and Mick. I also enjoyed the silliness of the 24/7 stuff. The worst was probably the toast. I love SCSA and any time I get to see him on TV is a plus, but that was a completely pointless ratings grab. He literally said nothing. He was entertaining in his nothing, sure, but it was still nothing and didn't further the current storylines at all.

I think the biggest frustration is that they should be using the legends to put over the current stars, (if they're concerned about long-term ratings). Didn't completely appear they cared about that, at all.

Agreed.

Also, Stone Cold was drunk as hell on IPAs, lol.

This was another pathetic moment. They made Seth Rollins continue to look like a total chump.
