Speaking of Shawn, as I went back through 1996 PPVs I was shocked at how odd his babyface run was. The dancing he'd do as a celebration for winning a match was downright disturbing. He'd literally pull down his pants to juuuuust above his dick, show his ass to the crowd, and hump the air. Oh, and the most disturbing part? He'd often bring in a member of the Kliq (aka a small child from ringside) to dance with him. 96 was a weird time.
If he wasn't doing that, he was visibly dropping f-bombs and shoving ringside cameramen. I have no idea how I didn't pick-up on that as a kid. Though, I do remember my brother and I being disturbed by his post match celebrations.

I get the suspicion that both Punk and Cena felt that this should have been the main event for Wrestlemania that year instead of Rock vs Cena, and this was their way to prove it/have that match anyway.

I would put your match at #2 and this one at #1, which also doubles as the best tag team match ever imo:

This is so very good. If you're short on time, start at 14:20.

Includes a Stephanie McMahon crimped hair appearance at 14:45 which is two of your favorite things @shafnutz05

This has been a surprisingly great show. Becky and Charlotte just had an absolutely brutal match

the crowd booed the Crown Jewel promo that was being played and ended up cutting it short.
They tried to advertise Crown Jewel. The crowd vehemently booed and they shut the video feed off.

Women aren’t allowed on the show dummies. Maybe don’t advertise your blood money PPV on the WOMEN’S PPV. #WWEEvolution

They're still advertising Cena for the blood money show even though its well know that he won't be there.

I just paid attention to Becky and Charlotte and that was great. They beat the piss out of each other. The spot to end it where Charlotte couldn't beat the 10 count was good. I was afraid they were going to do the lame thing when Becky buried her under all the chairs and tables.

I just found it funny all the talk about who started the "Women's Revolution" and the NXT clips, and the tearful vignettes about how hard they worked to get there and where they came from...and they all had to stand out there on the stage while Ronda Rousey got the post PPV Hogan treatment. Standing out there forever, posing, going around the ring getting mobbed by fans, etc.

I still want to know who thought a glittery stormtrooper helmet with a furry jacket would be a good look.

Haven’t watched Crown Jewel yet but reading the results feels like reading Kayfabe News.

Also this is sad on many levels:

Yeah they continue to make baffling decisions.

Also HHH tore a pectoral muscle but still managed to finish the match. Though the clips it’s pretty damn obvious that he’s struggling. He could barely hook in the pedigree.

I would have thought it was one of the Andersons.

Side note: that's not a pic that I'd expect to find on findagrave.com.

Dude needs to admit it's over and lay off the steroids. He's tearing things he shouldn't be tearing.
