I hate Seth Rollins. He's pushed down our throats way more than Roman these days and yet he gets a pass. Or better, he got a pass. It seems the sentiment on his has turned quite a bit lately.

He went from awesome Shield spin-off to schill real fast. Could you imagine Rock or Stone Cold pandering and being a full on company guy like Seth is doing. Save the schill stuff for guys that can pull it off like The Miz.I hate Seth Rollins. He's pushed down our throats way more than Roman these days and yet he gets a pass. Or better, he got a pass. Dynamite was fantastic again. Cody Rhodes cut a promo that would make his daddy proud. Jim Cornette, who doesn't give praise lightly, had this to say:

I think it was part of the joke. The Inner Circle put out a video I guess it was mocking a vignette Cody did a couple shows back. They also had "Chris' aunt's friend from bingo" give an interview and said she thinks he'll beat the sh it out of cody

looks like when he was first starting out
Big Bubba is not who I thought it was. I would have thought was Big Bubba Rogers, aka Big Boss Man. Apparently this Big Bubba was Fred Ottman, aka Tugboat/Typhoon/Shockmaster. Also learned today that Big Boss Man was only 41 when he died of a heart attack. Not sure why, but I thought he was much older.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virgil_(wrestler)After a standout amateur career,[citation needed] Jones started wrestling professionally as Soul Train Jones in the Championship Wrestling Association based in Memphis, Tennessee in 1985. He feuded with Chick Donovan and Big Bubba. He also made appearances in ICW with the Soul Train Jones gimmick.[3]

Yeah that Jericho video was also amazing. They are hitting on all levels pretty much. The only thing they don't have right now is a strong women's division.

Yeah the fact it was a parody of the Cody video made it even better. Just great stuff.
Cody's....
Jericho's parody in comparison... it's genius. So much attention to detail.

I again think this shows how much story matters in pro wrestling. Why having characters/wrestlers that people are invested in matters so much. Two guys fighting and putting on a good match... great. Two guys with a proper buildup, backstory, and REASON to fight makes a world of difference.
It's what AEW is so good at that WWE has forgotten how to do since maybe Bryan at WM30 and they were forced into that.

Also the video previewing the PPV is 30 minutes long and also really good. They make it seem like a legitimate sport, not sports entertainment.. its really refreshing. They are firing on all cylinders...

Actual amusing comedy in pro wrestling. I forgot what that was like. If that was wwe they'd do one of those videos each of the next 8 weeks and completely ruin it.

That match between Moxley and Omega... Good lord. That was worth the price of admission alone.
Was also really cool seeing Dean Malenko, AA, and Muta... They were sitting right down in front of us

That felt like a WWE finish (because it literally was). That’s probably the first bad booking decision they’ve made.Outrage. Chants of "You fcked up!" were loud.
