I would imagine Andrade / Lethal will fight most of the time, JJ and Flair will do some offense and that'll be about it.

There is no chance in hell that a 73 year old Ric Flair isn't going to take some stupidly dangerous bump, blade, and bleed all over the mat. Flair won't be happy until he kicks out at 2 thanks only to his defibrillator. He may not do the heavy lifting in this match but make no mistake about it, the selling point of this is Flair and he's well aware of that. The ultimate carny, Flair is going to try to steal the show. Hopefully he lives.

I often wonder if Darby or Sammy will kill or paralyze themself first. They are entertaining as hell though.

FTR with a great Babyface promo. Dax's story about his daughter....good stuff.

FTR is so over... they've been the #1 contenders for 16 weeks now with no sniff of a title match... its beyond absurd.

Like its cool that they have 80 belts but they dont have the ones that actually matter.

That main event was a mess and made no sense. Why is Jericho winning? The feud needs to end. Christ.

Oh piss off. Jericho always has to get his win back. Seems there's no way this **** is over now either.

This is the kind of **** that irritates me with Jericho. He will come up with a good idea... But then he runs it into the ground until the fire has become charcoal. Every feud goes at least one match too long, the order of wins/advantages make no sense, etc.

He can still be great at times but it always goes way past the sell by date.

Tony pretty much gives guys like him free reign and it isn't always good. Tonight was a gd mess with a dumb ending.

I think it's safe to saw that while WWE has no stories at all, and often never sticks to anything. AEW seems to like stories a little too much, and they often expire before they finish. Someone has to figure out a middle ground, because I'm tired of Jericho's nWo or whatever he's doing every week.

The show overall was solid. Brody/Darby was real good. Yuta/Mox vs Best Friends was also good with some good storytelling in the match, FTR had a great promo, Ricky Starks vs CAW from WWE2k was good.

The only things that didn't land for me was the Swerve in our Glory celebration, and the main event. The main event was just not good at all. The ending was awful, it made no sense, and was just an overbooked mess. Plus it didn't even blow anything off...it just goes on and on.

The womens match was fine I guess. Willow could be a fun babyface, Jade is getting better...and Jade and Athena have good chemistry. I didn't like that Stat was taken out of the match and even being at ringside.

I also didn't understand Britt doing some meta character saying rosa sandbags people and cant cut a promo..all while Hayter stands there. Like I agree Rosa can't really cut a promo but you don't need to bury her. That whole interview segment made zero sense.

Is Britt even that good, or do people want her to be good because they like Cole? She's entering Charlotte level indifference to me. She has to be in every title discussion, all the time.

But I also think that points to how poor AEW is at booking the women side.

I guess there was a controversy about Thunderosa supposedly sandbagging Marina Shaffir in their match. She is apparently married to Roderick Strong... Who happens to be buddies with Adam Cole... Britt's bf.

Why they think bringing this into the actual story is a good idea is beyond me.

Britt is maybe TOO good at cutting down the other wrestlers in her promos. It just draws attention to all of the weaknesses and the division isn't strong enough for that.

It's unfortunate that Thunderosa isn't great on the mic because it has really hurt her reign.

If nothing else, Willow has this aura of fun about her that makes her stand out when she's there. I'm kind of surprised that Tony hasn't signed her yet. Maybe he's thinking ROH? I'd rather see her than a good chunk of the division tbh.

I'd really like to see them find a way to get the belt on Statlander. She can actually cut a promo and stand up to the bigger personalities. Maybe some sort of 3 or 4 way at All Out so that TR doesn't have to eat the pin or something?
