Bit of a delayed post but I'm so over the JAS interfering in every other match.

That main event was a clinic. Danielson is amazing. Garcia was great. The **** at the end was a bit much, but I thought it worked in the match and put Garcia over huge without having Danielson actually get pinned.

If they just did that in one segment it wouldn't have been a big deal. Hurt what was otherwise a great match for me.

Hook is like OC or Danhausen to me. He fills a niche and is hugely over.

He's not my favorite but he certainly gets reactions all the time so can't blame them for striking while things are hot.

They kind of built a mistique around Hook by having him hang around Team Taz for a really long time without speaking or wrestling.

This led to anticipation for when Taz would finally "send Hook".

As such he got over more with long time fans than he probably would have if they had just had him wrestle from the start.

He doesn't do anything crazy in the ring... Lots of suplexes and then his dad's finisher. Definitely a niche character.

I get that wrestling requires a fairly large suspension of disbelief and in most cases I'm on board with that. For whatever reason, I cannot buy Hook at all. It's his size, his demeanor, and the fact that he has a face of a 10 year old. I never questioned that Rey could win the world title because his abilities in the ring made up for his size. Hook coming out and doing the Brock/Taz routine just doesn't work for me.

That's how I feel about Riho. A lot of AEW fans love her for some reason but she's literally like 5 pounds and I'm supposed to buy that she can even register a flick on most of the other women?

Jericho is literally sticking his fingers in almost every story now. He interrupted Yuta and they are now wrestling on Wednesday (Yuta gets Jericho's title shot if he wins - which we all know isn't gonna happen).

They actually thought having Ruby Soho and Anna Jay main event Rampage was a good idea. This of course means they get a talking segment with Mark Henry. I only had this on in the background and I had to mute it... I couldn't stomach listening to AJ attempt to sound like a heel. I actually just turned it off because heel Jericho was also on commentary and I've had more than my fill of him for the week.

I thought the initial JAS promo was incredible... but now I've just gotten tired of them being involved in EVERYTHING. At least the prior incarnations generally kept this stuff self contained. This is spreading like a virus. Too many damn people involved now, and I'm beyond sick of hearing about how Jericho is a wizard.

/rant.

I love a stadium show. Although WWE did just accidentally show a reverse angle and you could see that the hard camera side of the stadium is totally empty. At the upper decks anyway.

40k is still a lot of people and it looks like those seats were never even listed for sale.

Bianca/Becky is solid so far.

Well a great opener is followed up with Logan Paul. Classic WWE.

Dunn cutting on every “boo” and “yay” punch is exhibit A on why he needs to be gone.

Liv/Rousey was the first dud of the night. This has been an enjoyable show.

What I saw of Summer Slam was pretty good. My only real complaint is that due to McAfee wrestling, I had to listen to Corey Graves. I just can't stand the Raw announce team.

This is so embarrassing. Flair can barely move in the ring.

I’m just going to keep on pretending that Mania 24 was Flair’s last match. That was rough.

I saw a few small clips just now and that was really embarrassing for Flair.
