I think I'm one of the few who don't really care about Rousey showing up.

I do hope she takes it more seriously than this though. Come out like a bad ass, not some child living her dream.

I hope she can wrestle at least. I'll keep an open mind though. She just doesn't move the needle much for me.

So is that why the women’s match was last? If so that’s a dumb reason. I really enjoyed the show but swap the Rumble matches and it’s a perfect card.

Yeah, I agree. I'm kinda indifferent to her, but I'll at least give it a shot.
Oh, and ESPN announces she signed a full-time contract with WWE

I hope they give her a mouth piece because we all know she can’t talk/act for ****. She needs a certain advocate...

I thought the women's Rumble was really damn good. Probably the most I've enjoyed a Rumble in a long time. Of course I stayed completely off of messageboards and just enjoyed the show. I actually liked that the women left the ring so much. It created more room for spots and improved the focal points of the match. Seemed like Sasha was involved in A LOT of bumps, at least in the beginning.
Great to see someone like Molly Holly getting a chance to shine.
Man... two Japanese wrestlers winning the Royal Rumble. That's pretty crazy.
I tuned in late, but I loved the show as a whole. It was easily the best Rumble of the past 4-5 years.

Another thing... I think Rousey was wearing Piper's jacket. I was wondering why it looked huge on her.

That was SO good and they just had to ruin it. I dont particularly like her, I'm fine with her being in the WWE, but I thought that womens Rumble was real fun until that.

Someone made the joke that Trish Status should have not entered the Rumble, and just showed up at the end to declare her title shot.
Production totally botched Rousey's reveal, too. Camera guy wanted to show the Titantron when her name was revealed, and then didn't.

Trish Stratus is still 10x the wrestler most of those women are.

It reminded me of AJ’s debut. They’ll fix it in replays I’m sure.Someone made the joke that Trish Status should have not entered the Rumble, and just showed up at the end to declare her title shot.

I have to disagree. I was totally entertained the entire hour.I was so ready to say that rumble sucked. Pretty uneventful but those last 15 minutes were great
I'm going to walk it back a bit. The early start kind of killed my enthusiasm, and also not a ton was going on. But I loved how they paved the way for Elias to come out and sing. Slater getting his ass kicked by every entrant on their way in was great. And the last 6 or so guys until the end were sealed it. It was very entertaining. The women's rumble was fantastic. I choose to forget what happened after.

it's sign-pointing season, and Rowsey's sign-pointing came off as very awkward. That whole sequence was pretty awkward.

Plus it seemed like she pointed too early then paused, smiled awkwardly, looked at Charlotte, and pointed again. Was she supposed to be challenging Charlotte there? Did Asuka choose Alexa? If anyone can just come out and challenge a champion, why even bother with the Rumble?it's sign-pointing season, and Rowsey's sign-pointing came off as very awkward. That whole sequence was pretty awkward.
Stealing this from a Reddit comment, but a better debut would've been to have Renee interviewing Asuka after the Rumble just like Nakamura. Before Asuka can answer, Ronda's music plays and she enters, except this time she's not smiling like a jackass. She looks like a bad ass. Have her grab the mic from Renee, look at Asuka and say, "You choose one, I'll take the other," drop the mic, and leave.

Honestly, she leaves a pretty sour taste in the mouth with how she acted her last few fights before getting flat out embarrassed. That was SO good and they just had to ruin it. I dont particularly like her, I'm fine with her being in the WWE, but I thought that womens Rumble was real fun until that.
