I heard on a podcast he hasn't been an actual vegan for many years. And even then he was doing it more for health reasons than any sort of moral stance. He's def a dirty tree hugger, but thankfully not as much as his current character.

It's great. I'm WITH him on most of his beliefs and he still comes off as such a heel. Also, you know Vince loves it.

I must not have been paying that close attention on Monday but after seeing some clips posted from the Becky/Ronda thing, they really need to be careful with Ronda on the mic. That crowd got to her big time. She even admitted it and that will only make things worse for the next 10 weeks. She rebounded and made up for it at the end of the promo but man was she thrown off. Word is they sent Bailey out there early to save the segment.

She wasn't ready for the crowd to turn on her that harshly and that's WWE's fault. They should have known that was coming and prepared her for it. She's still green as grass but like you said she recovered nicely by the end of the promo and for the post-match promo with Becky.

I just can't stand Rousey. I can't let the real-life stuff go where she quit the UFC because she couldn't adapt to the women being better than her.

Rousey is tailor-made for professional wrestling. It's sometimes hard to remember that she had her first match EVER at Wrestlemania just last year. She hasn't even been in the business for 10 months and yet she's better in the ring than many of the established women wrestlers. Not only that, but she has a star power that none of them except maybe Becky have at the moment. Her matches have a big match feel. However you feel about her exit from UFC, it's hard to deny that she's been killing it in WWE.

Oh, she's great for the WWE there's no denying that. I just turn it off because of how she acted in the UFC, it makes the kayfabe stuff embarrassing/cringe for me.

BUT if they did it right and she just acts like she did in the UFC where she was a total b*tch who had what was coming to her, then I'm in.

Hideo Itami asked for (and was granted) his release. They're dropping like flies

I suspect AEW is going to be more like TNA than WCW in terms of relevance, but you would think their presence would tempt more wrestlers to test the market. For the last nearly twenty years, it's been either the WWE or Japan.

Once Shinsuke entered the picture, Kenta had no chance. Didn't help that he got hurt at a bad time. I was really excited when he first signed with WWE, and this is when they signed Finn and Owens at the same time.

I forgot how great this promo was when Jericho first came to WWE. I had completely forgotten about the countdown clock.

Continuing my journey back through the Attitude Era...this hardcore match between Ivory and Tori. Holy sht, Ivory was nuts.

Lawler was hysterical when they ended up in the shower.

As was someone expected, Kenny Omega signed a four year deal with AEW. The contract does allow him to appear in NJPW as well, which is awesome.

Yeah, going back through watching these I kind of have to force myself to reset my perspective from when I was in my teens. For some of these, it's difficult lol. I cringed at a lot of it, especially the iron at the end.

I rewatched the This is Your Life segment from 1999 last night. Man, that was pure gold. Foley and The Rock had incredible chemistry.

Watching that Jericho segment, it is crazy how far and away over The Rock was against anyone when he spoke on the microphone.

Oh he was over, for sure, but even in that segment, EVERY single line Rock said ended with a catch phrase. It was just "sing along with The Rock" one line after another. No different from what he was criticized for doing in his feud with Cena. Entertaining, sure, but I prefer when he's more creative and actually cuts a promo instead of just reciting his greatest hits.

and Carmella is the very first one they send out there at the top of the show. You could start hearing some boos and they absolutely muted the crowd.
