Missed this week's episode due to handling a prod deployment for work. Really wanted to see that match.

Big developments today

Rock also slapped Cody and looks to have turned heel-ish. Hey, at least WWE listened.

But I really hope this isn’t a set up for Rock v HHH at Mania. My guess is that Rock and Roman play nice til Mania. At Mania, just as Solo is about to interfere and get Roman the win (again) Rock jumps in, rock bottoms Solo, Roman turns his attention to him confused and yelling, Cody hits the cross Rhodes for the W.

I suppose credit is due. Massive 180 in just a week. Rocky leaning into being a heel. I’m listening.

I would love for Rock to come back for a couple years as a heel board member. Like a Mr. McMahon without all of the real life evil stuff

I truly don't think HHH would wrestle or he'd die otherwise. He's legit one wrestler I could imagine would never step in the ring again.

Oh that’s right! I forgot about his “cardiac event.” Good call.I truly don't think HHH would wrestle or he'd die otherwise. He's legit one wrestler I could imagine would never step in the ring again.

I actually want to buy a wrestling shirt for the first time since 1999.

Ospreay vs Takeshita? Goddamn. Missed the last couple shows, so not sure what the reason for this is, and I don't even care. Hell yes.

Yikes. Hardy was legit knocked out by Sammy here (Jeff this time...) and for some reason the match continued and Hardy was allowed to finish the match (Jeff this time...). AEW needs to do better at protecting their wrestlers. Accidents happen, wrestlers are carnies and will always pretend like they're fine and the show must go on. You need a doctor at ringside to stop the match.

I don't think there's any story on this match. It's just happening.

I'm good with it.

I ready they went straight to the finish after that, but have not seen footage to confirm it. Agree with the overall point though. I know people are gonna be like why do a SSP on rampage where no one watches, but that's not that crazy of a move. Sammy just **** it up (not on purpose).

Sammy is a problem imo. Aside from the fact that he has been inexplicably joined at the hip with Jericho and thus is forced to turn whichever way his wind blows... He just isn't a safe worker.
Take all the Hardy related injuries for one, add in when he and Tay tried to paralyze and maim poor Ruby Soho, he practically broke Jay Lethal's jaw in his debut...
He is crazy, but also just unsafe. He was a so called pillar at one point, but he hasn't improved at all (much like Jungle Boy, though he is more interesting than Perry by a mile). Not sure what you do with him at this point.

Heel Rock really is the best Rock. This is went from the worst thing WWE did in years to the best thing going in wrestling at the moment.

Not great news... I thought something might be up when they cut to him at the end there and he had the look on his face of I'm injured don't film me or whatever....

that's a bummer. He's one of the good AEW members.

I was thoroughly enjoying his slow heel turn with his psycho mustache. Sucks for him and the PPV being only 10 days away. I'm sure Swerve and Joe will still put on a great match either way.

That sucks. I was enjoying this unhinged Hangman character.

Sounds like he might be ok and just sent to the Danielson school of making you worry... (copied this from someone who posted it from Fightful select)
-------------------------
Hangman Page had the wrestling world worried at the end of AEW Dynamite this week, but as it turns out he's just very good at his job.
At the conclusion of his match on the February 21 AEW Dynamite, Hangman was holding his ankle and encouraging the cameras to not film him. He was helped to the backstage area and limped there, but we're told that this was an angle, and he was fine once he got backstage.
We're told this could be worked into the show now, but upon returning to the backstage area, Page was completely fine. One talent used a phrase that has often been used in situations like this "yeah, he's okay. He's just good at his job."
AEW did not provide an update in an official capacity.

It's just not necessary at all. The feud doesn't need it.
