Guess Kofi figured he botched the save spot the last few years so may as well not even try.

I was actually happy to see that. Put him out to pasture on those spots.

The mcafee waste of a spot was dumb.

R-Truth on the other hand. What a treasure.

I don’t think the crowd is dead. I think the audio sucks and they aren’t mic’d properly.

I would agree at this point. They seem pretty into it.

This has been a boring show. Nothing exciting. Just boring. WWE is not for me.

It’s tough to make a rumble boring.

Good, now put the belt on Cody like they should have a year ago.

Punk was gassed.

They have to finish the Cody and Roman story now right?

Anyhow like I said that was an overall boring 4 hours. Nothing actively bad but just boring. I got my fill for the year of wwe.

I wonder if that was supposed to be Lesnar's spot.

Yeah Cody had the momentum last year. It feels forced this year.

My brother in law and nephew came over to watch the show with my wife and I. Three non fans and me which actually made the show super fun. They were into the Rumbles, not so much the other two matches. I tend to take for granted how ridiculous pro wrestling can be so watching it with non fans was hilarious.

You can tell Vince is gone. They mentioned another wrestling org on the air and wasn't burying it.
Was Vince around when Mickie James was in it as Impact champ?
was that last year or the year prior?
2022 so Vince was still around. He “retired” the first time in June 2022.

Neither Rumble had any major surprises. Grace being there was awesome, RTruth spot was great.

I’m kind of over the over-saturation of Pat. Dude is every where all the time. Even if he was the Brock replacement. Nobody in the back couldn’t go out and do that and provide at least one major throwback? Nobody else from NXT was there they couldn’t throw in that spot?

It doesn’t help that the bloodline stuff has messed with two years of major events, and made Cody winning again, super predictable.

The HHH non answer was all I needed to know that he knows and was likely involved in it, imo.

Two take aways,

JD McDonagh looks like a bobblehead

Ludwig Kaiser’s head is too small or oddly shaped

Oof. Probably the worst possible answer he could have given. Cody gave a much better answer.

Yeah that’s bad. How is a performer (who admittedly is a former EVP) giving a better answer than Paul “HHH” Levesque? They knew that question was coming and that was the best they could come up with? Even a “unfortunately we cannot comment on an ongoing investigation” would be better than that.

Side note: he was interviewed on the preshow as Paul “HHH” Levesque. I wonder if they’re phasing out his wrestling name?

PWInsider confirmed a torn triceps. He'll be on Raw then is having surgery so no Mania. Have to figure that's a minimum 6 month recovery. That's a bummer. He looked BAD in the Rumble but maybe that was because he was fighting through a torn muscle.
