Apparently Danielson suffered a broken orbital bone in the match on Dynamite and is out until the end of the year. Dude is cursed.

Hadn't noticed this, but someone pointed out that Okada has had 3 matches in AEW, and someone got hurt in all 3 (not necessarily his fault of course)...

Adam Cole at Forbidden Door I (concussion), Danielson at Forbidden Door II (broken arm), and last week on Dynamite (broken orbital bone).

I was not expecting Superfan: The Story of Vladimir to be so emotional. Everybody here is around the same age so you no doubt grew up spotting him in the front row of basically every single major show ever. He seems like a really sweet man. It’s a solid watch.

I’m going to check that out. I never knew about him until recently. I remember “sign guy” being front row at a lot of shows.

Need to watch that...glad they finally released it. I was always amazed as a kid that he was at every PPV basically.

Attendance is down and the product is cold so let’s trot out Big Show! That’ll help things. :face:

I'm really hoping it's just a one-off match and nothing else.

Let's ignore the issues with Flair for a second (there's a reason WWE doesn't want to be associated with him these days). I thought it was sweet to bring in Flair for Sting's retirement. I do not understand giving Flair a multiyear deal.

This. It was one thing when it was a nice gesture for Sting... Who the f wants to see the corpse of Rick Flair for multiple years?
