That is probably the most heat not involving MJF that there's been in AEW. At least I can't think of anything that rivals it.

Kinda weird that they got FTR involved with the Ricky Starks feud, but I am assuming we are going to get FTR vs Bullet Club Gold at some point and I am here for that.

I'm not here for the main event however... the only reason this feud is continuing is because Jericho. Now it's time for him to get all his wins back... because he always does.

CM Punk is back. Wonder how long he lasts this time, until he's slighted for being an dadhole again.

I hate when DLC is announced for games that aren't even released yet.

Also, FTR, Matt Hardy, and Bunny as DLC? Haven't they been with AEW for years?

To be fair this game has been in development for like years lol....and they probably had a roster cutoff at some point early on. I dunno. In any event I have low expectations and hope to just be pleasantly surprised.

Yeah, the game has been under development for basically the entire life of the company. It was never made public why FTR were not on the original roster but Dax did say it was explained to him at some point (he did not elaborate).

I'm guessing they just had to draw the line at some point. It does really sound dumb on paper though when you know Abaddon is in the game and I'm not sure she's even been on TV in a couple years.

IIRC It was around the time their deals were up and they ended up re-signing but missed cut-off.

So add them as free DLC. Paid DLC is annoying by itself but even worse when it's announced before the game is even released.

Just watched this and the game looks fun at least....crazy but kind of cool? I dunno. Whoever is commentating on the youtube video is annoying though.

Honestly, I can’t hate on Hogan for that. He’s a NTP66 for a lot of stuff, but not that. Chair shots to the head should’ve never been introduced to pro wrestling and Hogan is old school. He knows his main job in the ring is to protect his opponent. You see a lot of guys who worked with Hogan talking **** about his politics or only worried about his spot, but nobody ever called him dangerous or stiff in the ring.

2 ridiculously good matches apparently happening at Forbidden Door...
Danielson/Okada
Omega/Ospreay
Those matches alone are worth the money.

I think it's more of the going through the motions of the chair shots.

We all know how much pull Hogan had backstage, and I'm sure he could have said "we're not doing the chair shot spot, brother." But either do the spot the right way or don't do it at all. This shouldn't be confused with an endorsement, since I'm not much of a fan of the hardcore stuff and even the chair shots make be cringe a little more these days.

and I like that better than the "hey everybody, time to point to the WM sign" that happens every 10 minutes during Mania season.

Bray Wyatt update. Not good. https://www.ewrestlingnews.com/news/exc ... wwe-status
eWrestlingNews.com has an exclusive update on Bray Wyatt’s status with WWE, which appears to be a bit more than the previously reported “physical” issues other outlets have reported on.

According to a source close to the situation, Wyatt has been going through what is being described as a “mental break.”

We do know that Wyatt had battled a case of COVID-19 and the belief is that the illness either “brought on” or “coincided” with some sort of mental health issue.

Additionally, it was said that when Wyatt returned to WWE at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view event on October 8, 2022, he expressed concern over simply saying the words “I’m here” as the show came to a close. There was a debate that took place between Wyatt and several writers at the time regarding whether he should say more. During the post-WWE Extreme Rules 2022 edition of RAW, Wyatt appeared in front of live fans for the first time since his WWE release in July 2021

Due to the sensitive nature of the matter, WWE officials are giving Bray all the time he needs. One source added that Wyatt seemed a bit “out of it” when spoken to over the past few months. We also know that he wasn’t happy with the creative plans for his character as time went on.

As of this writing, there is no timetable for Bray Wyatt’s return to WWE.

You could run just those two matches and I'd pay 50$.
