Joe got busted open hardway. Darby may actually die tonight.

Joe and Darby are the perfect foil for each other.
Joe is an end boss and Darby is a rag doll. I don't think Darby has a spine....that match was brutal. Darby will be done with wrestling in a few years with these bumps.
Not everything was great tonight but the variety of types of matches is what I love. Something for everyone....all different types of matches.

Pretty good show overall.
Love that we're getting MJF-Takeshita next week. Of course it will end in shenanigans, but they are definitely pushing Takeshita and I am here for it.

I think that's where I am with RAW or WWE in general. If there's nothing else on, I'll leave it on in the background as noise. But the production is too polished, the results are too predictable, and don't get me started on Dunn's camera control.I watch AEW live every Wednesday. I actually enjoy it and look forward to that two hour block of tv. Rampage and other stuff I dvr and flip through.I can’t watch live. I’ll scrub through on the dvr sometimes but mostly I just watch the highlights on Reddit. Same with AEW.Tried watching Raw and tapped out halfway through the Cody promo. Might tune into Mania but week to week WWE just isn't for me at this point.
WWE though...I dunno. Small doses is fine but their overall presentation and the way they do things just doesn't work for me.
The Rumble was the first time I had watched any show of theirs in its entirety in several years.

Also they apparently are pursuing another sponsored match for Wrestlemania

I just came to post the same thing. The sponsored match is rumored to be a Cinnamon Toast Crunch match. Billion dollar company ruins the look of their show with ads. Good job.

For all the dodinting I/We do about wwe they made the most money ever last year. So even if we don't like how they run things, they obviously know what they are doing because they just keep making more and more money.

They were paid $1m for the Pitch Black match. I’m sure they’ll have sponsor logos on the mat soon, maybe ads on the ring post like Slim Jim presents WCW Halloween Havoc. It always look so amateur with ads.

I look forward to the fraud of WWE coming out at some point. Lots of Vinny Mac fear and iron fist rule. For all the dodinting I/We do about wwe they made the most money ever last year. Saw a tweet yesterday that I meant to post. Of course can't find it now, but went something like this:
Why is it that everyone who fueds with Jericho immediately abandons logic? Why does Starks have to go through a gauntlet to face Jericho who he already beat? Shouldn't Jericho be the one going through a gauntlet to get a rematch?

Jericho making himself the final boss to whatever doesn't make sense.
Why does AEW do a gauntlet repeatedly? They've done two with MJF, one with Jericho. They should do like one a year maybe longer lol.

Yeah, it doesn't help that MJF is doing the same thing with Danielson. MJF pretty much always does this though, it's kind of his thing...setting a bunch of hurdles people have to go through to get to him.
He did it with Cody, Jericho, and now Danielson.
At least with MJF though it makes sense. There is zero logic in Starks having to go through a gauntlet.

Jerry Lawler suffered a stroke this morning. Still alive post surgery, but Meltzer says critical.
