Listen, dodint may have made it and ate it. But tif said it's really spicy. So it's settled.
Dude thinks there are actual strawberries in pop tarts.

(Basis for an actual recent lawsuit, btw.)

Obviously it's a stew.

I'm just saying 8 oz of anything in a pot with 16 oz of protein is a lot, relatively. I have a container of store-bought salsa in my fridge now and the entire thing is like 14 oz.

Got an email from our meat butcher that they are going out of business February 4th. Huge blow to the robbie household. There isn't a suitable replacement butcher anywhere near me. Already starting to dread buying meat from the grocery store again.

Honestly, I'll drive a decent distance to get locally sourced meats. Bardine's may be too far, however. This one was only 5 minutes away

I'll have my wife check it out. Haven't done Facebook in years.

We typically stay away from red meats. Our purchases are usually pork, chicken, turkey, with the occasional steaks/roasts.

Copy. Have you ever considered raising your own meat birds? If you have a little space, it's very worth it.

Palumbos is excellent if you're ever a but further north towards Mercer county. About 5 minutes off the 376/80 interchange

I have considered it, especially since I keep having trouble with my garden. It's trapezoidal in shape, but roughly 30' x 20'. Would make a nice chicken coop.

I've all but given up on local chicken. I don't notice enough of a difference to justify the almost dpuble cost. I just stick to hormone free stuff from Perdue.

Now pork and beef, yes. I havent bought that ish from a store in years. Usually buy by the half, hereford beef and Berkshire pigs.

I would get a freezer package for about $200. Lasts us a month or two. I could choose 8 items from a list of about 40, so it had decent variety. It came out to about $4-5 per pound when all was said and done, so it was only slightly more than going to the grocery store.
