Given that tweet, John Pondleton looks exactly like I would expect him to.

lol... Kenji posted his tweet on his instagram. That's the only reason I saw it. Looking through that dude's twitter history is... something.

Yea I just took the same trip down Lunatic Lane. I also enjoyed that the dude questioning someone because their last name is "Lopez" happens to live in Los Feliz.

That appears to be a bot account. One comment mentions that if you load the page in Incognito, the default language is Cyrillic, which I think is a joke, but whatever. Bot or not, scrolling through his history is entertaining, because if it's a real human their native language is Gibberish.

Pizza joints listen closely. A pepperoni slice is crust, sauce, cheese and pepperonis. Enough with the hipster BS with greens and ten different cheeses that are going to destroy my gut All night. Nothing wrong with it like it is.

The DMV offices should be kept just above freezing to make the employees feel some punishment for the **** they drag us through .

I agree that a pepperoni slice is that. The places making fancy pizzas aren't selling their kale pizza as a pepperoni slice.

Somebody Feed Phil is actually quite enjoyable. He apparently pitched as "Bourdain, if he was afraid of everything."
I've watched the first few episodes, and I'm pretty entertained. He has zero Bourdain to him. He just goes, eats, and enjoys himself... and I enjoy watching him enjoy himself.

You will find by the end of all the 16 or whatever episodes that the unabashed highlight - almost without fail - is the Skype calls with mom and dad. They are an absolute hoot.

Also, the episode in Hanoi............ Jesus P Crikey I wish I had seen that before we actually went there. There's a moment where he has dinner with a fisherman's family, and the interactions he has with the guy's two little girls. Absolutely magical.

We've adopted the Phil take-bite-pause-make-bug-eyes-"MMMMMM!" approach when we find a new delicious bite of food.

First somewhat foray into southernish cooking... made some fried catfish (with some hot sauce on it), vinegar braised greens, black eyed peas, and some cornbread (in muffin form). It was fantastic, and I'll need to make this all again some time.

yes?

The Wendigo

Bacon

Peanut butter (crunchy or smooth, but not sweetened, and not too goopy-oily)

Mayonnaise (Duke’s is king, don’t @ me)

Pickles (sweet or dill, your call).

Put it on the bread of your choice (I like sourdough).

My latest addiction are spicy pickles; on sandwiches or just straight out of the jar. Horseradish pickes too.

Mrs Wages makes a great spicy pickle mix if you're into making your own.

Make sure to put x-tra crisp in it as well (also a Mrs W product)
