Back to that be reamer...I can’t think of another use for that, so will probably just buy a squeezer model.

I was using a spoon on Sunday and the lime juice basically seared a cut on my finger; no more of that for me.

Blue cheese dressing (chunky) is the best dressing. And shame on any of you who disagree.

There's an awful lot going on in that blue cheese comment.

There are many good dressings. This is one of them. But it’s basic. Don’t be basic.

Chunky blue cheese dressing is for one thing and one thing only: Buffalo chicken in any of it's varieties: wings, salad, smoked chicken thighs ().

On any other salad: Poppyseed or Balsamic Vinaigrette.

I’ve made a homemade version; it was pretty easy to reverse engineer.

Dear Lord that is quite the ingredient list for salad dressing. I'm one for making things from scratch, but this is taking it too far. Aldi it is.

Minced shallot & garlic, spoon of Dijon mustard, equal spoon of vinegar of choice, 3 of those spoons of oil, whisk, disperse on leafy greens, toss, enjoy.

I enjoy blue cheese dressing on wings, but there are far better dressings for salads. Peppercorn ranch comes to mind. As does a really well made vinegarette.

For instant pot and indian food fans:

http://www.post-gazette.com/life/recipe ... 1803070007
this is not good guidance. we've done indian in the instant pot. if we're talking about a basic chicken dish, if you like overcooked meat and under-developed flavors, this is the gadget for you. but for the rest of us, make the yogurt sauce, marinate for a bit and then put the chicken under the broiler. there is not a significant savings in time or effort using the instant pot. and the end result is much worse.

the instant pot sucks for any protein requiring a precise temperature. basically anything that doesn't amount to a big hunk of shredded meat. or chicken wings. they actually work ok somehow. it is also really bad at searing. useless, almost.
