They were good.... I didn't include the chili de arbol because I wanted my daughter to be able to eat some and she doesn't like spicy. Next time, she's getting chicken nugs and we're spicing them up.Dude. Details on how you’re making the birria.
They're suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper rich. Very fatty in the good way. It needs the heat to really cut through the richness.
Also, started a batch of kimchi this weekend. This morning it was bubbling up out of the container, so we got some good stuff running in there.

I would like to eat a chocolate babka after watching the new bake off episode.

Haha... we just watched last night and I thought to myself: seems simple enough. I'm going to make it next weekend.

Glad to hear they were good. The recipe looks awesome, though I’m sure a nap was needed shortly after. They were good.... We’ve been watching our way through The Taco Chronicles. Though I’ve known now both of them are traditionally made, I’m now deadset on trying to devise a way to make authentic barbacoa (lamb roasted in a pit, juices collected and served similar to the birria consume) and carnitas (basically confit’d). Anything I’ve made at home is good, it just doesn’t compare to the real thing.

Also over the weekend, we had some bananas going south, so I figured I'd make something up. Boiled and pureed a butternut squash, couple mashed bananas, brown sugar, coconut oil, egg, flour, oats, baking soda, salt. Typical muffin stuff, but I decided to make a chai spice (the cardamom in that recipe made me think of this) and add it with some vanilla. Baked 'em up into muffins and topped them with a cream cheese frosting. My dear lord. They are scrumptious.

I like Emma Stone's cousin, Lottie, for her interactions with Noel. And she's easy on the eyes, so that's not bad either.Who you liking this season?Haha... we just watched last night and I thought to myself: seems simple enough. I'm going to make it next weekend.
As to win? I dunno... they have all had ups and downs. I'm guessing that Dave, Peter, and young Mark will do well.

I did this one year and it turned out great. It however made a disaster of my oven.@tifosi77: Ever try Alton Brown’s butterflied turkey recipe? We’re doing Thanksgiving by ourselves this year, and I really want to give this a go, since I’ve never cooked a turkey before.

I liked sandy as well. She will be on the new Christmas season coming up, so there is that. Also, I miss Sandy. The new guy is way too goofy.

No, usually with, or without, nuts.Poll question:
Do sticky buns come with raisins?
If a package of sticky buns says “sticky buns with nuts” do you expect raisins in them?

Do any of you bums have a convention feature in your oven and if so do you have any tips
Cooking and Dining
I am interested in the answer to this because I have a convection feature and never know when the f to use it
Cooking and Dining
I have a convection feature. My tip is to use it. I almost always do. Especially when I want a crisp/crust/outer coating a la baked chicken, meatloaf, Mac n cheese, etc.
