Got an email receipt from Blue Apron, thanking me for "reactivating my account subscription". Only problem is, I haven't reactivated sht. too bad I'm also not at the same address as the account either, I can't even maybe get a free box of food out of the deal.

Yeah, Blue Apron is shady as **** with that stuff. It's one of the reasons we stopped doing it.

They're like the BMG/Columbia House CD club of food.

Shopping is how I decide what we're eating. I'm not much of "Here, eat this this week" kind of guy outside of a few dishes that I maybe make 2x or 3x a year.

BA offers an array of choices for a given week. It's not a mystery box.

Unless they switch the toggle back after you have flipped it to off.

We do Hello Fresh 3 days a week...works well for us and it's nice to not have to think of what to make during the work week except for Thursday.

We plan a menu every Saturday for the week. If we didn’t, it’d end up being frozen pizzas and take out most nights.

So no one else has adopted my "make a huge batch of something and eat the same thing all week" practice?

We do that for lunches. I also tend to make a large protein on sunday and use leftovers in dinners through the week.

I do that at times shyster. Only issue is the things I make in larger batches (sauce, chili, etc) are typically the things that eff with my acid reflux and make it hard to eat 3-4 days in a row

Oh yeah, chili, too. I have two separate bags of my last batch in our freezer right now, actually.

I have a general rotation of bulk items I make in the crock pot

Olive Garden chicken (breast (nice), generic OG Italian dressing from aldi, parmesean, cream cheese, noodles)
Shredded chicken
The shredded pork that i believe the dunn posted on here many moons ago (pork butt, lime, put it in the boiler, etc)
Chili
Chicken noodle soup (I started experimenting with making my own stock with leftover bones from BJ's)
I haven't make my signature chorizo and potato soup yet this year, but i am due for it.

Does the crock pot pretty much go away in the summer time? Ours doesn't exactly disappear, but chilis and soups in the summer are not as appetizing. Definitely more of a winter tool.

Report it as fraud to your cc. Not an unauthorized charge, fraud. It will be treated as a crime vs as a mistake.
