Try using one of those to season a protein for grilling.

Drink an extra glass of water. You'll piss it out anyway.

2nd annual pie competition at my place of work. Last year I did an apple bacon pie that got lost among all the other apple pies, but was respectable. This year I went a bit out of the box. I present a peanut butter cup pie:

That looks delectable. Reese's cup, or something superior?

From bottom to top: Oreo crust, chocolate ganache, full sized reese's peanut butter cups, whipped cream/creamcheese/peanutbutter filling, melted chocolate drizzle, mini reese's cups, chocolate whipped cream.

:lol: Say goodbye to these results
Annual bloodwork update:

2016-->2017-->2018

BMI: 35.9-->34.8-->24.6
LDL: 167-->129-->131
HDL: 46-->46-->54
Triglycerides: 166-->111-->88
Total cholesterol: 246-->197-->203 (I don't know how this is calculated...)
Total cholesterol to HDL ratio: 5.3-->4.2-->3.8

Pretty pleased with everything except my LDLs... I wish they were lower. I don't know if I'm just genetically predisposed to holding onto LDLs? Because I've really changed my diet a lot in the past year and it doesn't seem to do much for the LDLs. I guess just something to keep an eye on moving forward in life.

I got 2nd.

First place was pretty much a pie crust with chocolate pudding topped with a coconut mixture. Was not very good imo, but I’m not a judge.

You are stuck cooking for the unwashed masses of Central PA, that don't appreciate finer food when they see/taste it.

The first day of my honeymoon, my company had a chili cookoff. So of course I made a batch and dropped it off on the way to the airport. I came second to a guy who finished his offering by dumping a can of Pace Picante sauce into the chili. That's not cricket.

Next year, I'm putting banana pudding and vanilla wafers in a bowl with some whipped cream on top. "Here ya go, ya slack jaw yokels. Have at it."

My first year in my job they had a chili cook off. So I made some venison tenderloin chili. It was amazing.

I lost to "white chicken chili" and "three pepper veggie chili".

Soup. I lost to soup.

I would've voted for yours without even tasting it. Principles.

I won one chili contest and lost another to pumpkin chili. GTFO with pumpkin chili.
