Ahh, a restaurant. I thought you were talking about some sort of south philly dish, which really confused me.
It’s got Wiz and Fried Onions on it

Philly cretins will put wiz on anything, and it's disgusting.

I don't like running the oven in the summer to fight with my air conditioner, but I would still like to make bread, so I bought a Zojirushi Home Bakery Virtuoso breadmaker. Works pretty well and makes a nice loaf, although my first attempt had more dough on one side of the pan than the other, so the top of the loaf was sloped. Nice crumb, and it came out properly baked. It makes a pretty tall and large loaf, and the mixing paddles stay in place during baking, so there are dents in the bottom where the paddles stick up. I did find that my lopsided loaf may have resulted from the baking paddles not both facing the same direction.

I also own a Zojirushi rice cooker and a Zojirushi water boiler, and if Zojirushi makes a certain type of appliance, then I'm buying it from them.

I've had a Zojirushi carafe coffee maker on an Amazon wish list for years. Waiting for the Cuisinart model I own to break or piss me off.

Aye, one of the reasons why I haven't pulled the trigger on it (yet). Then I started looking at Moccamasters...yikes.

going to Vegas in early October and we were searching hard for a fancy restaurant on the strip. Ended up finding Michael Mina in the Bellagio. It looks pretty solid but isn’t too popular (only 300 or so reviews on Google…Hells Kitchen has 10,000 by comparison) so can sort of be a “hidden gem” in the strip. End up making the reservation

just found out that it has a Michelin Star. That’s pretty cool. Will be my first Michelin star restaurant

Made another loaf of bread. The first lopsided loaf definitely came from the paddles. They need to both face the same direction.

I'm on Team Joule when it comes to sous-vide cooking, but Anova is currently having a sale, and that includes their circulators, their combi oven, and their vacuum sealers. They have a new chamber vacuum sealer out for $350 that looks very tempting, and it's 20% off.

After years and years and years of punting on saving for a chamber sealer, I finally bit the bullet and purchased an Anova edge sealer barely four or five months ago. Now these a**holes go and do this. :scared:

I still have and use my Gen 2 Anova circulators, but this sale is having me consider upgrading to a couple Nanos.

Is there a good store bought cheese sauce for hotdogs? Velveeta?

FWIW. When I make nacho cheese I usually go with the chefsteps recipe. Maybe I'll just do that and not add the jalapeños. It just gets a bit runner than you'd want on a hotdog.

I had my first (and last) Seattle style dog this summer when we were in Jet City. They are rather awful.

Minus the poppy seed bun, I do like Chicago style dogs.
